 102. Love Me Again (Remixes) EP [PRE-ORDER] - John Newman

wut.

I saw this in the 90s earlier and was quite shocked on how much it has dropped! :o

Lorde could become big over here. I follow the Aus/NZ chart closely and they've appeared quite often in the last few weeks. If they released 'Royals' here it would be T20 at least.

I really hope Bounce can make a top 10 appearence. It has grown on me soo much!

OH YES

Does anybody remember Gasolina by Daddy Yankee?

CLUB CLASSIC ALERT!

Lorde got to #1 in NZ with Royals and Tennis Courts I saw, I know she's local there and everything but she is so good I really hope she at least crosses over for like one top 40 hit if nothing else!

It just shows that they've held it back for too long. It could have been released earlier and it would have had similar sales to Naughty Boy.

Panic over, Icona Pop extended their lead over Robin in the most recent Kworb update! :kink:
I doubt John Newman's drop is 'genuine', there's no way it'd suddenly collapse out of the top 100 after being around top 40 for ages. Methinks iTunes has a problem with him, like what happened with Passenger the other day.
Well pre-orders are only flowing for a certain amount of time, after that they'll die down

Top 10 Popularity Update (not combining multiple versions)

The number in brackets shows popularity change since the last update. I know the percentages aren't "real" etc. (we had this conversation when I did this many months ago), it just shows a difference without having to do complicated calculations to work out "real" percentage increases.

:left: 01. 100% (0.0%) Icona Pop - I Love It (feat. Charli XCX)

:left: 02. 87.2% (-0.6%) Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines (feat. T.I. & Pharrell)

:left: 03. 67.0% (+0.4%) will.i.am - Bang Bang

:left: 04. 59.3% (-1.0%) The Wanted - Walks Like Rihanna

:left: 05. 46.2% (0.0%) Naughty Boy - La La La (feat. Sam Smith)

:left: 06. 44.3% (-0.4%) Jason Derulo - The Other Side

:left: 07. 40.6% (-0.6%) Passenger - Let Her Go

:left: 08. 30.5% (-0.8%) Dizzee Rascal - Goin' Crazy (feat. Robbie Williams)

Theoretically yes but this never actually happens (apart from early fanbase pre-orders dying down after a few days but that's different). John hasn't particularly been held back further than most other songs anyway.

Any sign of Queen Kelly with her first solo country single 'Tie It Up'? Not expecting it to do anything over here, so top 100 on iTunes would be nice.

 I hope it can extend its lead to 20-25% at some point. Would love to see it selling 130k+. Which I think is possible given the sales of the EP/remixes.

Alicia Keys "New Day" #176.

Woo! :cheer:

Finally top 200. And will rise even more once a lot of songs from The Voice drop below it. :D

Also...

Kelly Clarkson "Tie It Up" #165!!!! :o

Didn't think it would be released right away or expect it to get this high already!!

Maybe the song isn't going to do as well as it is predicted to or maybe people are not pre-ordering it because it's a week away?

People pre-order songs *more* when they're a week away (look at Jason Derulo and The Wanted breaking into the top 100 a few days before release). As for 'isn't going to do as well as predicted', how did it get that high on pre-orders in the first place if that's the case? I'm almost certain its drop is an error and he'll be back at ~#40 soon.

Nice start! :o

My post was nice timing too

It's already passed PLU. I hope it can be a hit! Would love Kelly to come over to promote it. I need to see her on UK television again.

Still waiting for her Alan Carr interview and performance goddamnit! I think she'd be brilliant on that. As well as Graham Norton. A brilliant personality <3

Definitely! She'd have me in stiches on both of those shows. She was great on Loose Women/The One Show. So would love to see how she interacts with Alan/Graham. Especially Graham's show, because he might have other great guests along with Kelly.

I can see Radio 2 (and maybe Heart) heavily supporting "Tie It Up" but other than that, there won't be much of a market for it on radio.
