Back in February i was surprised it managed to reach as high as #2, but the longevity it's been having really shows they struck GOLD with that song (if only it hadn't completely overshadowed 'Laura Palmer' at the same time though :()

I'm struggling to think of another year where I'd consider 6 of the #1s to be amazing. 2013 really has been a great year for #1s. Who would've thought it all those months ago when Shitney and Will.i.am were hogging the top spot? :lol:

Not a particularly inspiring bunch. I normally have more than 4 that I love at the halfway point, and I don't often get 4 awful ones over the whole year let alone 6 months.

Just purchased I love It; now it can go get a 40% lead over Blurred Lines (which I still love). :wub:

Was keeping a look at Kworb at lunch time and saw it at 99% of Robin Thicke and thought it was bound to overtake after a couple of hours.

 

Excellent result, now for the song to develop a decent lead on iTunes. So happy that 'Walks Like Rihanna' has failed to deliver. :D Now hoping 'Bang Bang' overtakes, shame a radio edit isn't available to buy (or video edit at least)
