Don't know if this has been mentioned, but 'Gentleman' has just charted at #28 in Ireland so Michael was right after all! :D

it's so weird how is Iggy Azalea - Bounce - EP charting in the iTunes UK albums at #200 yet the single is nowhere to be found? is it because there's no actual pre-order single and since the song is incorporated/only available in the EP atm they can't chart separately? I don't get it :???:

it's literally not even charting on the top 1400 of the hip-hop/rap genre chart where even Iggy's unofficial and unknown song "Take My Pic" appears in the 400's or something

There is no pre-order single for 'Bounce' as far as I'm aware, just the pre-order EP. 'Reload' also only has a pre-order EP too.

Don't start him off.

Hopefully 'True Love' smashes it's way up the chart soon.

oh I thought people could also pre-order tracks off an EP separately but I guess it's an "album only" type of useless pre-order deal, smh :x

3 new entries next week with the same titles as previous top 10 hits in the last 2 years :P

2 new entries this week with the same titles as previous #10 hits in the last 2 years. :P

Bad Meets Evil's song wasn't quite 'Lighters (The One)' though to be pedantic.

True but 'The One' was a top 10 hit in the last 2 years though. :kink:

OMG i just heard a clip of 'U Got the Power' on some advert on BBC Three :w00t: Currently #893, hopefully the Top 1000 effect will help :cheer:

This thread is 50 pages now and there is still one more day to go.

I expected John Newman to get a second week at number one, although I'm sure Robin Thickle should return to number one next week!

01. John Newman - Love Me Again 100%

02. Robin Thickle Feat Pharrell - Blurred Lines 86.5%

I hope Avicii gets moved forward again to this week, so we can keep the streak of 100k+ weeks at #1 going. Or perhaps a price cut for John Newman/Robin Thicke/maybe Icona Pop.
Hope Jay-Z & JusKing's new single manages to go at least top 40 next week! It's brilliant.

That's released next week? Ooo. His album went to #1 on pre-orders (Jay Z), so perhaps this could be the track that sells 100k+ next week to keep the streak alive. Hopefully so!

A bit off topic, but does "Wake Me Up" remind then of "Next To Me" in the verses? The vocal delivery is very similar I think.

Yes! But I very much doubt it'd sell over 100k :( It's not had that amount of hype and I think people will be purchasing Jay's album as opposed to actually buying that track. I do think it could go top 40 officially and end up with a #22 peak on iTunes or something though. Where it goes after that depends on which/if any stations will support the track.
From Jay-Z's previous album I think he had two songs cherry-picked into the top 40 on its release week (Empire State of Mind and Young Forever). But there's no songs which seem like the might this time apart from maybe the single of course.
