Posted July 2, 201311 yr zUZ1LFyEq1w It's 'alright' at best, could grow but nowhere near his highest standard so I'm disappointed.
July 2, 201311 yr That is actually too amazing to comprehend. I love how artists like Tinie Tempah aren't making music for mainstream success, I really enjoy it when an artist keeps their feet on the ground and doesn't do what's expected. I can honestly see this doing a Wild if it's released very soon.
July 2, 201311 yr This is amazing! I'm so excited that Tinie is back :w00t: The 2 Chainz feature is pointless though, but I won't let that put me off. I also think this would benefit from an OA/OS release.
July 2, 201311 yr I hated "Pass Out" on first listen so I'll never dismiss anything he releases on first listen - but this seems a little weak. Wikipedia is describing it as the lead single and if it's not OA/OS then I suppose it must be.
July 2, 201311 yr Certainly 'different', but it did grow on me as I got further into the song. I didn't even manage to pick out which part 2Chainz rapped as I wasn't watching the video although I'm sure it'll help the sales of the song. Does feel a lot like a promo single so I wouldn't be too surprised if it's just that.
July 2, 201311 yr Love this! There's a certain charisma to his rapping that sets him apart from other rappers. Then we have the production which is fantastic! Diplo did good! I can see this being big.
July 2, 201311 yr I agree with Jonjo, he has a certain something about him that most rappers don't have, he's got definite crossover appeal to pop fans too I think. I really quite like this. :D
July 2, 201311 yr I hated "Pass Out" on first listen Same. I remember the song sounded so strange the first time I heard it. It's hard to explain, but it took me a long time to get used to the synths, etc. And even now I don't like it as much as most of his other songs. And also I'd hardly heard anything about Tinie at all before Pass Out, which I found strange. EDIT: As for this song, I love it! :o 2 Chainz is a good choice for a feature, as this is exactly the type of song you'd expect from him, and it might help the song get more attention in other countries. As for how this song will do commercially, it's hard to say. I mean, even Pour It Up charted at #70, so... This type of music has been popular in the club scene since 2011, thanks to No Hands by Waka Flocka Flame, but has never really done well in the charts. The only song of this style that charted well so far was Harlem Shake. Edited July 2, 201311 yr by Eric_Blob
July 3, 201311 yr HUGE record. It's out August 5th. Summer smash. Edited July 3, 201311 yr by Lady Gaga

The only song of this style that charted well so far was Harlem Shake. Strangely i was the complete opposite as soon as i heard it i knew itd be a massive no1 and the start of a big new artist. It sounded different to alot of stuff i had heard before and thats how i knew itd be big. I remember everyone on here being shocked it went to no1 when i knew it was a certainty for the top spot. Though BJ was very much female loving back then in the sense that people didnt like a lot of male artists doing well at all!!
July 3, 201311 yr Listened to this twice this morning, it's awful. Worse than 'Harlem Shake', at least that was annoyingly catchy even if it was dreadful. I don't hate Tinie or anything either, I really liked all the singles from the first album...
July 3, 201311 yr This is really big! Quite similar to Wild For The Night (but nowhere near as effective just yet) - i can see it being huge and everywhere over the summer though.
July 3, 201311 yr O MY *GOSHH* that production is absolutely FLAWFREE absolutely AMAZING. that is what u call a comeback!!!!! I have always hated his rapping but LOVE the production on this. What is wrong with me, Lew?
