Hazel has grown on me, and I like her feisty side - but god, she SEVERELY lacks self awareness. If she thinks the main reason that she is disliked is because of Gina/Dexter in the safe house, then I think she's quite deluded. It's not just the actions of someone else which result in the public hating you.

To be fair the DS hate for Hazel only properly kicked in after Gina formed an obsession with her in the safe house. Before that the dislike for her was high but not out of the ordinary. I even said it in here ages ago that the keyboard warriors of DS and the BBBOTS audience members can't form their own opinions on anyone and, unfortunately, they seem to be the ones who are voting.

Yes, she has been nice now but Hazel getting picked on by the public right now is justified after what she and Daley collectively put Katie through.

I've never defended Hazel's actions with Daley and I'd understand this sentiment if the same public didn't applaud Chantelle for doing the same to Preston's FIANCÉ and then voted her the winner. These girl codes and morals are all very selective.

I disagree with this because the hate for Hazel really begun when Hazel/Daley kicked off - which if I remember rightly, was before Dexter & Gina were put in that house. It was only mild flirting at that point, but it was definitely beginning. But that's beside the point, Hazel seems to be under the impression that Gina/Dexter in the safe house are the reason she's disliked. The main reason she's disliked is through her OWN ACTIONS, not somebody else - she threw herself under a bus with the whole Daley/Hazel debacle. That is why she's least favourite, ultimately.

I think Chantelle was just generally much more likeable though, and then it seemed like Preston was leading her along. I cant remember, but I didnt condone that (as much as I do adore Chantelle).

Dear god the twins were TERRIBLE in this episode. What was with Joe randomly attacking Gina in the garden, she was laughing with him I thought?! Diddums you arent the publics fave.

Hazel did handle it graciously until she went on about it being thanks to Gina & Dexter. I cant believe no one remembers how she was with Daley, she is hated for a reason and a very good one too! She cannot really be that stupid.

Like I said, the hate for her was already high but it only got to vicious levels after Gina repeatedly called her a homewrecker sket in the safe house. People now think it's perfectly acceptable to call her a whore for flirting with a man who instigated the whole thing to begin with and who seemed perfectly at ease throwing away his girlfriend. I remember pointing all of this out after Jackie fractured her arm and Gina labelled her 'useless'. All of a sudden, while Jackie was not that well-liked, everyone started calling her 'useless' and a 'bitter old hag'.

It was still the same, if not worse, than the Dazel thing. The majority of the public obviously hate who they hate, which is normal, but they can't take the moral high ground over Hazel when they adored Chantelle. I'm not condoning the behavior of either, but it basically shows the public up to be complete hypocrites (which they kind of proved anyway by voting Hazel and Daley into the safe house in the first place).

I'm not arguing that Gina and Dexter didn't contribute to Hazel's demise - but the public would've just disagreed with Gina if they didn't seem truth in what she was saying, and turned against Gina instead. Hazel can't pin the blame on 2 other housemates for being disliked and seemingly pass on the responsibility. Hazel DID flirt outrageously with a taken man and showed no signs of backing down - and as she is the housemate in question (and not the scenario itself, so we don't need to mention Daley who obviously was massively in the wrong himself), that is why she is ultimately disliked.

I agree that Hazel's actions didn't help her in the slightest and she should know that she overstepped the mark, but the housemates keep telling her that she has done nothing wrong, and have done so ever since Dazel happened. Dex and Gina obviously saw a lot more than other housemates did, and Dex keeps telling Hazel she has done nothing wrong as well, so I understand why she's confused about it. It's easy for us to know who is in the right and wrong, but it's harder for them, especially when they're being told everything is rosy when it's not.

Jack and Joe are annoying me beyond belief now. I can usually tolerate them but when they're bad they are BEYOND miserable. And the way Joe started clicking his fingers at Gina pissed me ooffff, her reaction of mild disgust was kind of amazing. Sam is growing on me again. I don't want any of the three to be evicted tomorrow. :( I'd rather see Callum or the twins go. *le sigh*

Yeah that's true at her obviously knowing less than we do - but that's what I mean about her lacking self awareness, if she can't see that a part she played during some of Hazel/Daley hasn't caused a fair bit of dislike.

I agree with all of your last paragraph though, I'm having to want Dan to go, who is my 3rd favourite in there - really wish The Twins were up :(

Still can't see why Sam is as liked as he is when people usually mona when someone that boring is so high up in the odds/rankings. It's baffling. Yeah he's a nice guy, but that's literally IT. He hasn't done anything memorable at all.

I know I keep saying this but I'm really not getting the Callum hate. :\ Apart from the fact he's quite cheesy/cringey, I think he's actually a decent housemate (not the best, but most certainly not the 2nd worst ) Dexter just makes me want to punch the closest thing to me whenever he starts talking. Callum wasn't exactly "bitching" about him earlier, because Dexter knows very well what Callum thinks of him and I'm pretty sure he's said it to his face before (and vice versa). I hope the public start laying off Hazel for a bit now tbh. She's really not THAT bad, at all. In fact the only person in there that deserves the treatment she got imo, is Dexter. The rest of the housemates are all nice (but boring) or have been consistently entertaining or both (minus the boring, obvz). I still only want a Charlie win, but that's definitely not going to happen now, is it? :(

The twins are annoying now. They showed their true colours tonight, didn't they?!

Gina's reaction to people considering her for the gunge morning thing though. What the ACTUAL f***. :manson: Get over yourself honey.

Hazel's hate definitely started to be more vocal when Gina was in the safehouse. SO SUPER COINCIDENTALLY all people who Gina had a beef with are now out. Jackie didn't get on with her - out, Jemima with that 'racial' issue - out. The only ones who probably DESERVED to be out were Wolfy and Sallie. So people start ganging up on Hazel because it's really such an easy pick for them. Once she's out they will find another person to hate I PROMISE you. Watch Dexter losing his popularity now after the whole thing on the show the other day. It's really ridiculous how Gina is popular with the public right now. Apart from a few facial expressions and quirks she's really nothing special AT ALL. Her diary room rants are fake as f***, she constantly refers to others as basically 'lower people' she doesn't even bother to talk to outside of the house ("I've never ever x3000 met a bunch of people like you in my life"). She is quite thick as well. Who in their right mind would interpret Charlie's comment as offensive in any way whatsoever?!? That was beyond ridiculous. Not EVERYONE can fancy you. Have you seen how you look in the morning dear? Her making a grimace of disgust when Sam joked about having a w***. DARLING, people masturbate and talk about it, get over it. And Jemima with her """"""racist"""""" remarks. I MEAN COME AWN stop making up things and I might actually resume liking you because at the moment I'm finding it SO HARD to find ANY redeeming qualities in your personality.

Well, almost. She really rocks the tasks though. The infection one was great. I'd have loved to see what she'd be like if she was held in quarantine longer! But other than that erm wot

Ikr, I think they've gone back under Dexter for me now :manson: Terrible, bitter, arrogant people. They didn't really have much chance of winning anyway, but they've definitely blown it now, ironically by moaning because the public didn't want them to win as much as Gina.

Them are Dexter are both awful, those two are the housemates I really can't see how people like. Gina is just Gina, straight talking, funny, kind at heart, Sophie is loveable, fun and nice, Charlie is nice, talks sense and kind, Callum is a very nice guy, same for Sam, Hazel is sharp and takes all she gets quite graciously, Dan talks sense and is hot as f***, but the twins aren't funny/good looking/nice or anything, same with Dexter. I've for a really horrible feeling Dexter might challenge for the win though somehow, idk :( That's if he gets to the final ofc, he may not.

I think the level of hate is what's causing confusion. It confuses me too and we can see everything. Her actions were wrong, but they're not worthy of being humiliated, gunged, called a whore on national TV etc. All of that should've been directed towards Daley, imo, but for some reason a lot of people (not you guys) seem sympathetic towards him and I think that's why I get so worked up about all this. :(

I felt SO bad for her when she had to wear a snake costume. The hurt was SO transparent on her face. And the final hit was when she had to be gunged in the morning. I'd probably have been a MESS if I was her.

Oh and producers definitely aren't all innocent in instigating the Hazel hate either. She had THREE parts of the task involving receiving information that the outside world absolutely HATES you (tarantulas on toast, snake outfit, gunge) while most only had BARELY ONE task (in Sam's case... what... like... NONE AT ALL).

Oh, I think it's undoubted that the producers are mediating what they show to try and paint Hazel in a bad light - I'm pretty it's what they were trying to do with Deana last year, only it's actually working with Hazel. Part of me does like Hazel these days when she seems independent and strong (just walking out accepting the gunge), but then I find myself disliking her again when she comes across completely cold and devoid of emotion.

OMG I'M WATCHING BACK ON LAST NIGHT and Joe snapping his fingers at Gina has wound me up no end - I can't explain how much they've gone down in my estimation in the space of like... 2 weeks. Their 'lol funny twins' mask has well and truly slipped, that's for sure.

I swear I'm the only person on the forum that doesn't particularly like Sophie. I just find her a bit cold. I still rank her above Dan though, just. He's had much lower lows in this process and though he can be warmer, he can just undo it all with bitchy times. Although Sam hasn't done that much, he does seem pleasant. I'd still like Dan to be evicted today but I'd rather the twins or Dexter went if there was the choice. :(

I can totally see them trying to be all hilarious and funny and 'omg look at us we're fat' to try and regain public favour now that they know they aren't so popular with the public. I wouldn't be surprised if they were gone next week as long as Hazel isn't up though.

Not caught up with any of this since I got back, but NewsfeedJoseph has been telling me a few things over the two weeks. Glad Daley was given the boot, although I'm intrigued to see what happened between himself and Hazel. Hope she was given a shock. Cannot control my laughter at Jackie being evicted though, glad she's gone, she was nothing but hindrance to Charlie in there, so hopefully she comes out of her shell for the remainder of the time now; and I'm really loving Dan, Sam and Sophie are up. Probably inevitable that Sophie will be safe, as much as I'd like to see her gone. Hope Dan's not gone, and although he doesn't get up to much, I don't quite think it'd look the same if the house was without Sam. :P

'Nine and a half when the tongue's out' oh my god I'm GONE  No idea why that's so funny but it sounded so so wrong ad creepy.
Dan made me laugh tonight :( I still want him gone though just because his reaction and everyone elses would be AMAZING. Glad Sophie is getting the biggest cheers too!
Literally agreeing with everything Dan and Sophie have said about Callum. Literally cannot stand to watch his cringiness anymore!
