Meanwhile, Azealia is busy participating in a Twitter war with Lily Allen, of all people. :o
LMAO. That girl needs to learn when to shut up. She's absolutely vile. I really do not see the appeal with her or her much of her music (not even '212' - 'Jumanji' can stay though) at all.

This is doing very well, the increasing radio airplay is giving this fantastic longevity so far! If it wasn't for all of the new releases, this would've been well inside the top 10 by now I think.

 Out of curiosity, what city/area do you live in?

212 was played at my Prom last week, crazy moment.

Was Thrift Shop the last transatlantic #1? I'm not even sure if that was #1 at the same time (in the US & UK) actually.

I live in Birmingham. It's not very ghetto-like at all really, apart from the racial make-up.

Lily Allen getting into an argument is hardly surprising! Kind of surprised this hasn't happened sooner tbh.

I absolutely LOVE 212 but since then Azealia's gone downhill for me although Esta Noche, Jumanji, f*** Up The Fun and Yung Rapunxel are good. And she REALLY needs to shut up on Twitter, jesus :drama:

Same (not last week, it was in May but still) - me and my friend totally lost it

212 was played at my prom and the only reaction it got was the girls dancing around just like they did with all the other songs.

The songs that got the biggest reaction at my prom were Niggas In Paris, What Makes You Beautiful, Party Rock Anthem, Drinking From The Bottle, Tidal Wave and Gangnam Style.

(well, it's not as off-topic as it sometimes gets in here )

Oh. And the same time her single is premiering too :o

Who, Lily Allen or Azealia?

I can't wait for new Lily Allen songs. I hope they can live up to 5 O'Clock and The Fear and 22.

Get Lucky got a huge reaction the first time I heard it out (which was like the day after the song got released). And EVERYBODY, except me, seemed to know all the words. I felt so out of place. I still don't know how everybody knew the song so quickly.

I've always been surprised at how well-known some songs are though, there's songs from 5 years ago which didn't chart top 40 which most people seem to know when they come on.

Azealia.

I'm hoping the success of Pink & Lily's 'True Love' means we see Lily return to music, she is much needed in the chart!

New album is scheduled for March next year! :D (A while away yet, but it's something!)
I hope they can live up to 5 O'Clock

Not gonna take much to live up to that. Ruining one of my favourite Lily songs (the criminally overlooked Who'd Have Known).

Can't WAIT for Lily to return to the charts on her own though, it's been too long!

Leona Lewis "Run" #74. I hope it can get a 2nd week in the top 100 this week. :)

"Ho Hey" to #37. :( It'll need a boost from somewhere to stay top 40 next week! Perhaps a 59p reduction in the next batch? :kink:

It'll definitely need one! But it looks like this might be the end of Ho Hey's top 40 run (for now at least, tee hee) :( ~ WE HARDLY KNEW THEE ~

The sooner Ho Hey leaves, the better.

But you're wrong Joseph - can you imagine a Top 40 chart show without Ho Hey?! IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME :(

A Prom in 2013? how young are some of you lot? Freddie Starr would be rubbing his hands with glee!
