I find it quite baffling that Jessie Ware has never had a top 40 hit before, but there you go. She's part of why Disclosure got famous in the first place, so it would be nice if they could return the favour and bring her to the mainstream audience.

It's interesting depsite the millions of Twitter fans One Direction only seem to have a core fanbase of 80-90,000 who are willing to spend money first week for a single, normally that would be enough i guess.

I always found that quite interesting, likewise Alexandra Burke and Amelia Lily have almost a million each yet can't even get 10,000 of those to buy their single.

Are you buying every single/album/book/movie of every famous person you follow on Twitter?

I "like" One Direction on Facebook, and never bought any of their releases.

On Twitter, most people follow other people to keep updated about their career and stuff (or because their tweets are funny/interesting), but it doesn't mean they're inclined to buy all their products.

13 millions followers worldwide doesn't mean 13 millions hardcore fans ready to buy their single first week in the UK.

Toploader are so high :o Never been a particular fan of Dancing In The Moonlight but after its original massive chart run in the pre-download era I guess it was always likely to reappear at some point. Calvin Harris will soon be top ten too, I actually started to doubt whether Thinking About You would continue his run of hits from this album but it looks like it should get there with ease!

#39 in the midweeks. Wonder how Jameela will account for it on Sunday. Who would've thought a random re-entry would happen this week (outside of the Now album).

I still can't get over Professor Green flopping so hard with a lead single from a new album. How are his EP sales holding up? Could he miss the Top 75 completely?

They broke Vevo record on youtube, over 12mln views in one day, nowadays it gives more money then spending money for a single.

It's like the Spice Girls, but to a lesser extent - massive cultural impact, huge fan base, yet their sales are lower than you would expect.

However, I have liked artists, etc, then only bought like 1 thing from them soo ya know!

Erm, what are you on about? Spice Girls had huge sales no matter how you look at it. If you look at it that way, than hardly any songs have sold as much as you'd expect!

Dancing In The Moonlight is terrible, always hated it :(

I love the Spices, but on looking into it I'm disappointed with their sales.

That was my least favourite song as a kid and it used to be everywhere

Wasn't Dancing In The Moonlight in one of Jamie Oliver's Sainsbury's adverts?

Dancing In The Moonlight was originally sang by King Harvest wasn't it?

Their sales are perfectly fine except for the Forever album and 'Headlines' single...
