As nice as it is to see tons of old Avicii songs returning to and climbing the top 200, why is everyone ignoring the majestic We Write The Story? :(
That Vickers song sounds really dated and shite

Agreed. It's such a non-event :/

Because it's shit.

Cinderella is actually pretty good, but not her best by any stretch. It wouldn't be too big of a hit even with a proper push tbh, it just doesn't sound like a hit.
Wow, Diana at #43!! Didn't expect it to be that high!!! :cheer:

Try to be slightly more CONSTRUCTIVE in your criticism please!

i think diana's done so well to have such a poorly constructed release because all of the stans will buy it in BULK to equate to a LOT more than she'll have sold if it was a proper single methinks

Absolutely not, it's gorgeous and packed with euphoric melody and charm.

Surprisingly I like it as well. Her best since Once.

How is Professor Green doing so badly this time around? It was less than two years ago when he launched his last era with a huge #1 smash! And I don't feel like he's massively dropped into irrelevance in the meantime so perhaps people just don't like this song at all...

YES!!! :cheer: One more place and she'll be in the iTunes top 40 which would be an amazing achievement!!

The song is not accessible enough to smash into the charts. From what I've heard, its amount of airplay hasn't been amazing either.

Roll Deep in the top 1000! I think this is better than Picture Perfect did.

It's team 2010! Diana and Scouting for Girls both had #1s followed by low top 40 hits. Roll Deep had two big hits, but then Alesha Dixon ruined them. :( Professor Green had two big hits, and Monster and Jungle did fairly well too. Can't believe Diana Vickers is highest though, what kind of madness is this?

This pretty much just shows how fickle the public are/how quickly irrelevant artists can become. Diana, SFG and Roll Deep had success in 2010 (not exactly "huge" but decent sized hits) and three years later they're struggling to even go top 40 with their comeback singles. Even Professor Green had a massive #1 only 18 months ago and he's struggling, too. Charlie Brown's song is alright but not interesting enough and I doubt it's getting Capital airplay this time around.

I'd be less annoying if it was released on some Monday in 2050... :w00t:

There is *no way* OD will get to #1 - I expect even Avicii's 2nd week sales to be well over 150k.

Even WMYB only managed 153k, and that was with a massive XF boost behind them, not to mention it was their debut single. LT & LWWY only managed mid-80k's

I'm still not convinced that Avicii can hold on to number one, I do think 1D will benefit from front loaded sales but I see it being close it just concerns me the way the record label are allowing the hype to build and don't forget Radio 1 (for the young listeners that doesnt include me lol) and Capital will be all over this tomorrow.

Don't forget, Justice Collective were number 1 on over 250k but 2nd week that fell to 90k. I know that was a charity record and start of the year is always the iTunes gift card effect but sales drops do happen.

I will only be happy once the midweeks are in, Avicii is still number 1 and then ill relax!!

Oh and lol at Pro Green at #100, beaten by SFG not a good start
