NO! 'Demons' must be.

Ahh, I love 'Demons' too! Would be perfect for an Autumn release. :D

'Secrets' should have done better by One Republic. My favourite song by them as well!

Radio 1 are absolutely HAMMERING 'Take Back The Night'. I'm kind of surprised it's not doing better. 'Tunnel Vision' is still higher on iTunes! Radio 1 are also hammering 'Do I Wanna Know', 'I Love It', 'Trampoline' and Vampire Weekend's 'Unbelievers'. I've heard them so much in the last few days it's unreal. (Although I wouldn't complain about some of them)

Still roughly 75% off Avicii but I'm delighted to see 'Summertime Sadness' actually becoming a hit, even if it is thanks to a remix.

Lana Del Rey could well continue to pull ahead of John Newman/Robin Thicke next week and secure a top 3 place whilst Avicii and Miley Cyrus battle for #1.

 02. Summertime Sadness (Cedric Gervais Remix) - Lana Del Rey

Would LOOOOVE her to beat Miley. Hopefully every different version of the song can do it.

Britney 'Ooh La La' #98 + #713. I assume the version at #713 is being boosted due to the Smurfs 2 film being released yesterday.

A classic number 2.

No, Take Back the Night has just been removed by them. They do like playing him though ...

Live iTunes Top 10

1 Avicii

Wake Me Up

2 Lana Del Rey & Cedric Gervais

Summertime Sadness (Lana Del Rey vs. Cedric Gervais) [Cedric Gervais Remix] [Radio Edit]

3 John Newman

Love Me Again

YESSS!

:cheer:

Your faves could never!

This is the best top 3 OF THE YEAR!!! (Not like that was hard to achieve considering the music of 2013, but this top three has smashed all others this year in styleeee)

I guess it's just a memorable phrase that caught on, before being run FIERCELY into the ground

I was thinking the exact same thing.

YES @ Summertime Sadness, I've got over not wanting Lana to do well cos she's Lana, cos I'm in love with the track so much.
Yes!! Great news so happy this has actually gone top 10, just keep climbing Lana if this could go top 5 I will wet myself with excitememnt :yahoo:

Imagine what you would be like if this went Top3 or above.

So how do you feel now that Lana has gone to #2 then?

Probably feeling very wet now. -_-

Because they're wannabe BJ stereotype with no personality if their own? It's funny when used every now and then but certain posters just don't know when to stop. And don't forget 'slaying on all bases' which is just as irritating.

AlunaGeorge are at #49 and #117, I really hope they can scrape T40 this week - they've been there on iTunes for a few days now with the two versions combined.

Oh, and I'm glad Lana's up to 2, I do love an unexpected hit.

I don't think AlunaGeorge will quite make the top 40 after they weren't there in the midweek update. Looking likely they'll re-peak though which is at least something.

Odd that years into the future, people will look at Lana Del Rey's discography and wonder why "Summertime Sadness" has the highest peaks. Same with "Spectrum" really, the standard album tracks are nothing special.

Rebecca Ferguson or Paloma Faith to have a big 'remix' hit next please, their voices scream dance anthems.
