I wonder where Jay Seans new album will chart...

His current single is at #431 on iTunes, so the album probably won't chart very high. :(

It'd be great, and totally unexpected, to see Lana get #1 with 'Summertime Sadness'. Can't see it happening though.

That would be great but I don't think it will happen, having seen how much demand for the track I just wonder what could have been had they released the track on August 11th then it 'could' have done it but I'm happy that its proved me wrong and it will be top 3 easily!!

NO SALES INFO

Lana top 5, that's fantastic I'm hoping she will swap places with 1D but I want to see her overtaking Robin but with his multiple entries I'm not sure but top 5 is a great result!

Nice to see Disclosure and Rudimental in the top 30, hope AlunaGeorge can stay top 40 just a shame the album has fallen out the top 5 but Scouting For Girls still at 6??!!

Delighted that 'You Know You Like It' has snuck into the T40, but yikes at their album - I was expecting #2!

How can 'Radioactive' STILL be above 'It's Time'? I hope the latter breaks top 30 on Sunday.

oops Clean Bandit is gone from Weds Update :snif: my guess it just got pushed out by Of Monsters & Men, DAMN.

No MW mid report yet I don't think its going to happen, shame we don't have any sales info this week.

Singles

1 Avicii

2 John Newman

3 Robin Thicke/T.I./Pharrell

4 One Direction

5 Lana Del Rey/Cedric Gervais

John Newman slaying all bases! :cheer:

Lana should easily overtake 1D by Sunday, not sure if she can beat oot Robin though.

Kanye and AlunaGeorge (and also to a lesser extent Of Monsters And Men) being top 40 today more than makes up for Clean Bandit dropping out! :cheer: 'Dust Clears' has grown on me more since hearing it a few more times though. Just really hope Kanye/AG/OMAM can hold on. Calvin up to 9, Arctic Monkeys top 15 and Rudimental/Foxes and Disclosure top 30 is all fab news as well.
