Posted August 26, 201311 yr This has peaked at #86 when their album was released. Now that the "video" is out, where will this chart? aGGZ1HULZQo Top 20?
August 26, 201311 yr Not another 1 minute video :drama: It depends on how much support it gets but I can't see it doing that well. The casual listener will probably hear it on the radio and confuse it with Get Lucky. I think it will go Top 30 at best.
August 26, 201311 yr Is this whole album featuring Pharrell or something? :S Irrelevant considering they already HAD the big Pharrell number. It's like the new J.Lo ft. Pitbull :(

Pitbull :( Oddly enough, it is just this and Get Lucky with Pharrell. This is the most commercial track on the album aside from Get Lucky, but I just can't seeing it being even top 20.
August 26, 201311 yr Top 40 at best maybe 'Give Life Back to Music' or 'Doin It Right' would've been better choices tbh
August 26, 201311 yr I'd love this to do well, but sadly it won't :( I voted Top 40 and that's being optimistic.
August 26, 201311 yr Instant Crush would have been a BRILLIANT follow-up. There aren't many potential hits on the album but that would guarantee it a Top 20 position if it had good airplay.
August 26, 201311 yr #12 - Purely based on the fact they have had a huge single but I think it will disappear quickly.
August 26, 201311 yr Maybe top 30, absolutely STUPID choice when they have a killer like 'Instant Crush' though. No idea what they are thinking...
August 26, 201311 yr Probably not top 40, I haven't heard a lot of about it and people don't seem too optimistic. Not heard it, but I'm sure I can't dislike it more than I did Get Lucky.

I guess they're just playing it safe but I agree with you, poor choice! Doesn't stand a chance of top 10, but I reckon it won't chart unless we get a proper video so I'm voting top 75! August 26, 201311 yr I love Lose Yourself to Dance, but two Pharrell collabs in a row isn't a good idea imo (and it doesn't help that the two songs sound very similar too). I think Instant Crush would have been the best choice. Doin' It Right is getting released as an alternative-only single in the US for some reason.
August 26, 201311 yr So "Get Lucky" still T40 with "Lose Yourself To Dance", "Get Like Me" (Nelly) and "ATM Jam" (Azealia Banks) all yet to be released. Pharrell is on fire at the moment. It was an obvious second single really. Would quite like to hear a re-recorded version with Bowie. Could do well if the radio get behind it. Fingers crossed.

August 26, 201311 yr I fear this could struggle to gain the impetus to crack the top 40. Perhaps a remix would've been a smarter move to follow up 'Get Lucky'?!
August 29, 201311 yr It wont be massive, i can see it a fly by hit but may scrape the top 10 as the album hasn't sold in massive numbers yet so it could benefit from that. The other side of the coin is Get Lucky is still in peoples mind and this may get completely overlooked.
August 29, 201311 yr I don't think this will get top 40. I really don't know what they were thinking sticking to exactly the same formula as last time because it never really works for anyone (see J-Lo, Pitbull for further examples). Although I don't think there's much else on the album that could give them another hit, Instant Crush would've definitely been a much better choice, but I dunno if it will do that well if it ever is released.
