kath its kinda rude to give this sass considering how hard david's worked on his contest and how hard the mods work well... all the time. fair enough it's shit you did invest a lot of time in listening but you managed the deadline the previous two months (how did you manage to do it before and how did it work for you?) AND there was plenty opportunity to have listened twice to both semis and had them in on like... wednesday!

Deadlines are deadlines and are there for a reason. Every host has a different schedule so the most important thing you should do before any contest is to check the deadline date. Beyond personal, serious reasons, there shouldn't be any exceptions. Everyone else managed it fine (with a new deadline time). It's good to see a host actually stick to the deadline.

I didn't vote at all that contest and was still allowed to enter the next one because of the controversy :heehee: (I didn't enter anyway cos I didn't want to exploit that).

I feel like I need to publicly apologize for this drama since I came up with the subject originally.

I was only trying to understand the mechanics of the game and hoping for the best, didn't mean for the subject to blow out of propotion!

 

And that is all.

I voted at like 11:15am from work cos I'd forgotten the deadline was 2pm, but luckily Lee had sent me a text. :lol:

Well what an absolute monumental bellend I am. Before 12:00, with plenty of time remaining I start to send my votes PM, get halfway through formatting it and then got completely distracted by something, forget about it and go out.

 

Get home after the deadline's passed, open my laptop and see this
