 73. Lolly (feat. Juicy J & Justin Bieber) - Maejor Ali

Obviously only doing so well because it's the first new release with Bieber on it for AGES (I'm not complaining, he can take as long as he wants to release more material, preferably forever) but quite an amusing coincidence that Juicy J is now coming for his first 2 UK hits as a solo artist on the same week, nearly 2 decades into his career.

Lolly? As in "Viva La Radio" Lollyy? No, I thought not, but a combination of her, a random rapper and Bieber might just make the worst records heard for a long time, well since "Thrift Shop" anyway!

And then I remembered that itunes puts the featured artists with the title of the song, not the main artist so that the lead artist isn't Lolly anyway! Duh!

272. Royals - Lorde (pre-order)

Already this high and R1 have only just C-Listed it. #1 PLEASE. ('Tennis Court' is at #469 + #68 on the albums chart as well and her album pre-order is #174).

Everytime I see Juicy J mentioned I keep thinking he's Becky G. No clue why.

Glad to see Christina Perry holding up well. I really hope the song doesn't nose dive by saturday and ends up with a #11 peak. :(

How can you make that mistake? Both of them work with Dr. Luke a lot, but other than that I can't see any similarties.

Cher Lloyd! :magic: Becky G was featured on 'Oath' and Juicy J on the US version of 'With Ur Love'.

A potential Conor Maynard/Eminem/John Newman in whatever order top 3 makes me feel a bit nauseous.

That's like saying the bubonic plague was a *bit* lethal...

Katy has never released promotional singles in the UK before.

What - a #1 selling 1/4 miillion in 2 weeks isn't promo enough? :P

Even #12 would be a new high, though.

Just added to the radio 1 alist this week so the next 2 weeks will see its most plays. Ive heard it 2 times a day for the last 2 weeks because we listen to radio 1 at work.

Bit annoying how close Bound 2 by Kanye is so close to the top 40 before the weekend effect will move it down to no60 again ;(

Kanye coming for another top 40 hit it seems ( to #41)! Didn't expect 'Black Skinhead' to do nearly as well as it did but not surprised at the success so far of 'Bound 2' at all, sounds much more like Kanye's old stuff compared to most of the rest of 'Yeezus' which has a quite uncommercial industrial sound. (Before anyone says it I know neither of them have exactly set the charts on fire but Kanye hasn't been a big force in the singles chart since the Taylor Swift VMAs incident and the direction he's taken with 'Yeezus' is certainly not helping that so under the circumstances I think he's doing pretty great).

Also looks like 'The Catalyst' will continue to be Linkin Park's lowest peaking lead single as 'A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES' should easily beat #40 this week. Seems to be holding up pretty well so far, could this actually be a biggish hit for them?

Oh c'mon I've already told you, just because you haven't experienced something that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

A shame since it's one of their best, and had it been released OA/OS it would have probably done as well as "Burn It Down".

The new one sounds a bit tacky for me but it's always nice to have them back in the charts.

 39. Kanye West "Bound 2"

I'm a big fan of Kanye's, but this track is just idiotic. Genuinely shocked to see it doing so well, perhaps people are just craving music from him and downloading whatever's there.

Both Kayne and Lorde were on Jools Holland this week - this is why they are probably rising..
