I think Chase & Status said that they were aiming to try and introduce new British talent with this album. They do have songs with the more established Nile Rodgers, Pusha T and Major Lazer on the album though.

I'm taking flop loonage to a new level and still haven't heard 'Count On Me' even though 'Lost & Not Found' is one of my favourite songs of the year, if not my favourite. Oops. Pleased it looks likely to do well just based on the artist, it should be easily top 10 based on its pre-order position. Their album is not doing too bad on pre-orders as well (currently #61, might be a second top 5 for them).

Justin Timberlake continues to freefall, TKO down to 153

For some reason I'm not worried about Justin. Is it getting any airplay? He has promo coming up in the next week or so, so that should definitely help it out! (Plus despite the hype fading slightly, I'm quite optimistic and can see him clearing 100k with this album 1st week - then more whenever he's on X Factor (appaz he's a confirmed guest))

Loving 'Made In the USA' going top 75 on iTunes FINALLY! It's my favourite single from her now!

It did reach #67/#68 when it initially was climbing the other week while on the Capital playlist, but it is now very close to a new UK iTunes peak! :cheer:

Slightly less worried that Justin's album will miss #1 now as it's up to #45 on the albums chart. It'll definitely open on quite a bit less than 'The 20/20 Experience' though. iTunes pre-orders actually suggesting HAIM will be #1 but I doubt that will happen.

No.14 Demi Lovato - Skyscraper

This is totally awesome!!! This year is unbelievable!!!

No.44 JoJo - Leave (Get Out)

It seems that some people miss Jojo..

No.75 MGMT - Kids

Nice comeback..

No.89 Amy Winehouse - Back to Black

One of the greatest performance ever!!!!

Hoping HAIM will block that overrated act from 1! :cheer:

Speaking of, I'm gonna stop listening to Capital - all they seem to be playing at the moment is that awful other song with Lily Allen, absolutely spamming me with it!

I heard them play Macklemore meanwhile!! At 3am when I was up late. Otherwise, I've heard Can't Hold Us ;)

Are Within Temptation and Tarja not #1 yet? :smoke: the EP is at #30 in the albums bit.

Well, the video isn't out either and his videos normally get played a lot.

Rather disappointed with TKO though.

Suit & Tie > Take Back The Night (by a large margin)

Mirrors > TKO (by a large margin)

Leona Lewis "Run" #70. So happy this has been doing so well!

I still can't believe she got signed up to a deal without a termination point with her record company when she was a kid!

That's the story as I've heard it anyway. Massive dispute for her to try and get away. It's ruining her chances of a continued career.

Wow at Skyscraper still climbing! I still find her voice slightly too raspy on it but it's a lovely song that deserves to have far more sucess. And JoJo's Leave almost back to the top 40 as well! Always nice to see songs from the low sales climate of the mid 00s returning to bump up their sales total a bit.

Skyscraper is a nice song but on the whole I find it a little underwhelming, I feel like it could have been a lot better and more epic. I also think in the second verse when she says "would it make you feel better" she sounds incredibly flat.

I'm so glad it's doing well though, I love her. Made In The USA is one of my favourite songs of the year.

To me "Skyscraper" really exposes the weakness in her voice. She can't reach a number of the notes and can't hold some of the ones she can reach. In the hands of a better singer it would be a much better record.

I agree, I thought the same about Rihanna's Unfaithful which is a fantastic song but Rihanna's voice was too nasally back in 2006. She should re-record it now as her voice has strengthened hugely over the years.

Given she was only a minor at the time, I would guess her lawyers would try to use that as a way out...

Absolutely not!

Just to clear things up once and for all, Mirrors > Take Back The Night > Tunnel Vision > Suit & Tie > TKO!
