I think #2, behind Storm Queen's "Look Right Through". There's also potentially big releases that week from Britney, McFly, and maybe NONONO (IF it gets radio support I wouldn't underestimate it!) but LM should be able to outsell those

I voted for #3 but sort of just mean top 3. I hope it can go #1, it's personally my favourite song of the year so far, I think it's brilliant! Hopefully it gets good airplay and can do well, would love them to continue with this sound, it's a big step up from their debut era (which I still loved).
I voted for #3, I can see this having a very similar chart run to 'DNA' but not selling as well as it. I doubt it will be able to sell more than Fatboy Slim's second week sales and I think Britney should sell more, especially as she apparently has an X Factor performance and the hype for her performance will be far bigger than a Little Mix performance on the show. This is a dissapointing comeback and I think it will only sell around 150k in total.
I'll say #4. It won't completely flop, but it won't be as big as Wings and DNA. It's good they're progressing in sound but I can't see it working as well as they'd probably like...
I expect a fleeting appearance in the top five for this.
I would call them second behind the Saturdays in terms of Girl Groups.

As if. We'll see how their respective upcoming albums perform (and the two leading singles), but two consecutive releases selling less than 100k (versus LM's Platinum album) says otherwise. Plus, none of The Saturdays' back catalogue have even managed to outsell 'Wings.'

I'm shocked at the responses on here, I think it's brilliant and will be bigger than their previous 3 singles at least. They have an X Factor performance mind, so that should give it a significant boost. It's so good, I'll be genuinely gutted if it loses out to a novelty song like Fatboy Slim. Storm Queen will be their biggest competition imo. Britney too I guess, but I think people are severely overestimating her relevance.

Laughing at the 'biggest girl group' status. Anyway I predict a low Top Ten as it is very forgettable due to the lack of a chorus

The Sats have had a career for over five years and this year had a #1 single. They've also had three tours, three documentaries, four albums, a book, calendars, clothing line and had twelve top ten singles and mass media coverage for all five members of the band.

Little Mix released their first single last year. Sure it was a big hit but if we're going to compare girl bands then The Sats had three top ten singles from their debut album which also went platinum. Little Mix's album sold the same yet only produced two top ten singles.

Now who's the bigger girlband?

Oh god, I shouldn't have bothered. And yes, those past achievements are all very well and good, but we're talking about now - as in the "current biggest girl group." Surely the logical way to deduce that is by looking at sales of their most recent releases - and lo and behold, Little Mix trumps The Saturdays in that sector (although lets be honest, neither's figures are particularly groundbreaking.).

Oh shush...anyway something doesn't click with me for this. I imagine it'll be top 3 but there's no way in hell this will be number 1. It's not even 'too out there to get at first but you eventually love it' a la Girls Aloud. I do love the Little Mix girls but this just isn't my cuppa TBH.
The only reason wings and cannonball (is it?) got to number one was cause of xfactor. And I wouldn't say they were the biggest girl band in the uk. Nevertheless, even though they have slipped a little, but I'd say #4 maybe #3

Current as in 2013, The Saturdays are UK's biggest girlgroup. That's not even arguable.

I love Move, though! I really hope for a #1, but I think top 5 is more realistic. :cheer: It reminds me a lot of the Spice Girls so I hope it won't flop.

 at all The Sats fans raging about a subtitle.

I can see this getting them a #4 peak, there doesn't seem to be that much hype around them at the minute sadly :(

'Wings' was released prior to the 2012 live shows even airing and got to #1 on it's own accord.

If we're talking solely 2013, then sure. But it's hardly a fair comparison in a year where LM have only released two post-album singles (which both outsold 'Gentleman.' :kink:)

I don't understand the lack of hype comments. It's still got over a month until it's released and its airplay has yet to even kick off. Not to mention the response (well, outside of here anyway) towards it has generally been very positive and it managed to break the top 100 on pre-orders within the first day. I'm notoriously bad at predicting a song's performance, but I could see this doing better than 'DNA', but not quite match 'Wings' in sales or longevity.

It is going to have to get a lot more hype than it's currently getting to have a chance at sustaining popularity - online reaction has been positive but I don't feel that they're what's in right now. I'm only expecting a top 10 at best.

Anything above that will be lovely though.
