'All Night' will probably sell closer to 1/20 of 'I Love It' than 1/2 :lol: Well the former would equate to ~25k (based on 'I Love It' currently being on ~500k but that will of course still increase) so it might do a little bit better than that but if it looks like possibly struggling to even go top 40 I can't see it approaching 100k overall.

 

I totall agree with you but I thought that it would be bigger as a follow-up..It doesn't sound so different than "I Love It" for having this low position. It should be at least Top 40. It hasn't so strong competition this week. It seems that they will be "One-Hit Wonders"..I don't care but i love it.. :teresa:

an x factor performance would have done union j good and gave them a boost i suspect they need this to go top 10.

That's because Lorde is so good she doesn't need one!

The Lorde track is average but people love it because she's young and it's pretentious. James Arthur can't sing for toffee but he'll be the most successful male winner because of this probably. And Cowell would actually like him to succeed because that's usually what this boils down to.

Well to be fair the whole thing does seem SLIGHTLY pretentious and not particularly due to the song either. She's been in artist development for a long time (since she was 12!) and Royals does shout like someone high up at the record label heard it and said that he wanted it to be a hit, hence why it feels as if it's been shoved down everyone's throats. It doesn't really feel as if she has much longevity in her.

 

But other than that, I do agree with Bre.

Do you know what, I can't be bothered with it. Expressed an opinion, you do it, fchd does it, and yet I'm singled out all the time. I think I'll only use the Chart Forum for reference from now on because every time I post in here, despite my posts actually being harmless, I get bitchy remarks from the most pedantic people here. I apologise for whatever it is that gets all your backs up and why it seems to be different to what everyone else does.
