October 20, 201312 yr Thank you very much to the all new Top 5 for pushing Miley Cyrus down #1-7. :D Not sure what sales will be like for John, hopefully 40k+, and it would be nice if the Top 5 managed 20k+ (surely not out of the question?). Cher gets her highest peaking non-number one album - to be honest, she doesn't seem to have had that much big chart success in either charts considering she's one of the biggest music artists in the world. I was kind of hoping The Sats would peak at #9 for somewhat lols, but #10 is fine. Very surprised Will Young held up so well considering this is merely a cash-in and there was only one album separating this and his previous greatest hits. Boo at that drop for HAIM. :(
October 20, 201312 yr Loving Counting Stars still, 3rd track this year to return to #1 after James Arthur at the beginning of the year and Robin Thicke.
October 20, 201312 yr Embarrassing for Eliza on all fronts, this will be the last we see of her then.
October 20, 201312 yr Cher gets her highest peaking non-number one album - to be honest, she doesn't seem to have had that much big chart success in either charts considering she's one of the biggest music artists in the world. Happy that Cher stayed at #4! And as well, Cher never really had a lot of album success over here until the 1980s. She had more album success in the US.
October 20, 201312 yr Happy that Cher stayed at #4! And as well, Cher never really had a lot of album success over here until the 1980s. She had more album success in the US. I suppose Cher is kind of similar to Mariah Carey - she seems to have not as much success here that I would have thought despite being a massive worldwide star. She too had much more success in the US. Regardless of chart success though, Cher has some fantastic tracks in her back catalogue!
October 20, 201312 yr Great stuff for Cher !!. I wonder where Woman's World reached I guess we might find that out tomorrow.
October 20, 201312 yr i can't believe Morsheeba only entered at number 99.....such a great album. How much did it sell? 100 copies? I'm sure it doesn't take more to reach the album chart these days.
October 20, 201312 yr I think I speak for quite a lot of people when I say I had no idea Morcheeba released an album this week. And indeed I wasn't entirely certain they were still going.
October 20, 201312 yr Delighted Morcheeba made the top 100 and even more delighted to see Gloria Estefan make the top 75. Great to see Cher go top 5 in the albums to, its like rewinding back the time seeing all 3 on the chart.

October 21, 201312 yr Disappointed that Lucy Spraggen dropped so much - Thought she would be an 'album seller' and hang around for a bit. Happy that Matt Goss has managed his first solo Top 40 album - Last time he reached the album charts was in 1991 with Bros and all of his solo albums up until now have failed to chart despite him having 4 Top 40 solo singles.
October 21, 201312 yr An impressive 13 new entries in the Top 30 albums this week... so when's the last time the Top 5 consisted entirely of new entries?
October 21, 201312 yr Nobody's going to talk about JB's massive drop? 75 14 02 Justin Bieber Heartbreaker
