Pretty much this.

Lady GaGa is the most credible pop star and Britney one of the least.

lies.

Which part? Lady GaGa writes, produces, designs, is invovled in all aspects of her work, sings live, can dance, danced on a torn hip ligament, and goes all out for her work.

How is that not the most credible?

She looks to the past for influence and really udnerstands music and progression.

Oh go away, that wasn't the point I was making.

Nice to see Work bitch and Dope decreasing, 2 woeful songs by 2 artists who are far too often hype over substance.
Why is Jessie J up to 37? Is it because of the Teen Awards or something?

I've searched it up and it appears that she performed 'Sexy Lady' on Surprise Surprise.

I'm actually kinda surprised that Britney is still as high as she is. I'm pleased none the less, but I really did think she'd be lucky to reach the top twenty with this one
lol at the conversations of the past 2 or so pages. Who cares who likes or doesn't like Lady Gaga, there's more important things going on in the world.

Firstly less of the gifs please, I swear some posters have more posts with gifs only.

Secondly can we stay on topic

And finally just ignore the troll, I know there are lots of members are getting wind up, me included, it just gets so frustrating, I wish he goes away.

Eminem is so close to number 1 again.. It's his double this week with the other versions and all for sure.
I wouldn't say she conquered the indie mass.

My indie friends don't give a shit about her and to their eyes she is just like Britney, Christina, Katy... A pop manufactured act.

I don't say it as a negative thing but people should stop over-estimating Gaga's influence. Out of the pop scene she is quite irrevealant.

I know that a lot of people I know who were metalheads loved her, but I think she lost them from 'Born This Way' onwards.

GIFS > words. but whatever. ^_^

bad Romance is a perfect pop song, her best and an absolute classic - I still listen to it now. As do people I know who like rock music, a lot of them have that song on their ipods along with Just Dance!

Who still listens to Baby one More Time or Britney´s albums? I can only listen to In the Zone.

Erm, "Baby one more time" was released like one decade before "Bad romance", so how stupid is your point?

The influence of BOMT was and is still huge.

Sorry, I'm not even a Britney fan, but he is so annoying with his GAGA VS THE WORLD obsession. Can't he just be told to stop?

Does anyone know if this song is on iTunes or the iTunes chart? i keep hearing this all the time on TV adverts and it makes me laugh each time looooooooooool

Oh please, don't underestimate the power and influence of 'Baby One More Time'!

Eminem might have 3 songs in the official singles chart this week! Survival will obviously get ahead Work Bitch soon to reach #6 and Berzerk will be #9 once Work Bitch, Dope & Bad Day falls. I don't think Rap God has a chance though.

That's the same with indie/rock fans at my school - some quite liked, or perhaps didn't mind, her music back when she was "normal" with songs like 'Just Dance' and 'Poker Face' but then lost interest from pretty much the start of the Born This Way era.
