'Merry Christmas, Baby' is selling 100% physically, the download has been removed (Bublé did this last year as well so is Rod planning an official re-release?) Bublé's Xmas album is also set for a top 100 return this week.

Top 5 singles and album with some sales info :D Storm Queen could just crack 6 figures, there seems to be Amazon data not included for Thursday.

Ah man, Eminem unlikely to do the double now. Hoping the album can beat Daft Punk though and get the highest first week sales of the year.

50k+ for James Arthur is pretty impressive. What did Little Mix open on last year?

Storm Queen looks like he should sell practically double what Fatboy Slim sold last week, wasn't expecting that at all :o Martin Garrix should have an even bigger first week based on pre-orders, could push for 125k+.
That's probably the Christmas effect starting to kick in.

Indeed - RS re-entered at #514 this week, and BUble's Xmas album at #180

Surprised at that lead from Storm Queen...I would love to see it hold on till Sunday though I wouldn't be surprised if it does a 1D and ends up losing sales over the weekend and Eminem builds a stronger lead but I hope not

I knew this was going to be huge but I'm gutted Fatboy Slim didn't do better. If the video had been released sooner and got A list on Radio 1 then I think it could have done better!!

It would be a great run to have Storm Queen and Martin Garrix getting number ones...I can see Animals selling between 120-130k anything above that would be incredible

It be better if some tracks can stay #1 for a few weeks, I really hate the weekly #1 turnover

^^Agreed i thought The Monster might have done it, but its holdong up fine!

When was the download version removed?

Only #7 for The Wanted is shocking actually considering they get MASSIVE airplay support, had X-Factor and the album is being launched with five top ten singles. :o It'll probably be lower by Sunday, too, and God knows where next week.

I didn't think they'd even make the top 10, it's pretty much obvious they're over and have been in massive decline for the past year.

Plus the single they've released it off the back of is absolutely shocking.

Well the only albums ahead of The Wanted are other new entries which is more than can be said for their first 2 albums :P A bit of a feeble achievement though.
We're Lucky that Eminem and Rihanna got to number 1 last week because since this week on they will be in the top 5 (or 2) and will sell A LOT (like 90K this week) and stay behind the number 1 of the moment for 1 week. so they have no chance of getting back to number 1...

Makes me wonder, when JA tweeted that he was ahead over Eminem on Midweeks, where did he get his unofficial data from?

Also noticing quite low sales for the Wanted as it's a new release album

Any chance Cher's album has moved up? As well, Avril's doing very well, considering Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys aren't stocking the CD. Has anyone actually managed to buy the CD in any stores?
And a big ouch in the albums for Union J from 6 down to #27, nothing else really worth noting in the albums apart from 7 new entries in the top 10, that must be a record

If not a record for new entries, surely it must be for consecutive new entries starting from #1?

At the time Eminem's album was hitting the shops on Tuesday, James Arthur had Monday sales where Eminem didn't

He was 'ahead' of Eminem on Tuesday's update. But that was only because that update covered sales from Sunday and Monday only, while 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' wasn't officially released until Tuesday.
