There's an all new top 7 in the albums - but not the one we expected, as it's actually Elvis shooting all the way up to #7 at the end of the week, with The Wanted ending up #9 behind James Blunt.

No full top 40 update yet so the second album chart post will have to wait again. Bet you can't wait to see the Elvis chart history (took me an hour to type up).

Poor The Wanted, they are so underrated imo (and they got too much hate). :(

Very glad Britney has got another top 10 hit! :cheer:

'Story Of My Life' is definitely One Direction's best song so hopefully it continues to do well.

Biography

Employing a stylish mix of arty, confessional bedroom pop and club-ready electro-rock that has drawn comparisons to the likes of Grimes, Lana Del Rey, and Sky Ferreira, New Zealand singer/songwriter Ella Yelich-O'Connor, who goes by the stage name Lorde, became an Internet sensation at the age of 16 with the video for her debut single, "Royals," which garnered over 750,000 hits on YouTube. Her 2013 debut EP, The Love Club, hit the number one spot on both the New Zealand and Australian charts. The New Zealander continued her meteoric rise to fame in 2013 with a growing fan base and began sessions for her debut album, Pure Heroine, with producer Joel Little. - iTunes

Chart history (Year peak title):

2013 01 Royals -1-

The new entries are mentioned in the narrative.

I don't trust the OCC to give the correct positions so I'd rather wait for a full list.

It's so strange how a nobody from Westlife can comofrtably beat Avril Lavigne in the albums.

Westlife who are one of the most successful acts of the century... :P

It's interesting that Avril Lavigne is just next to Nickelback

I've used them for the commentary  Trouble is there should be at least three re-entries so I want to know where they are

It's nice that Jameela is so enthused about Move.
