Luke was good, but I really really hate "Your Song". I've heard it way too many times now. 7/10.

Good song choice for him I thought. It wasn't "great" but it was good enough, I thought. Again, not his best performance (but 'Kiss From A Rose' is going to be very hard for him to top in all honesty), it was a good version of the song.

Now I think that was a perfect match of singer and song. That's easily the best he's sounded in the competition thus far.

I did think that when I read yours. I seem to be in my own WORLD the last few weeks re. X Factor.

I adore "Your Song", both the Elton original and Ellie cover, but I really wasn't feeling his voice on that at all. :(

Completely "back to form", although that doesn't really make sense, cos she is fab every week. But, that felt like it returned to The Power Of Love standard to me, really effortless but superb from start to finish vocally, rather than the 8.5/10 feels I've been getting in a few weeks. 9.5/10

But yeah that was good, I just caught myself comparing it to DSB and obv she came off poorly

03. Sam Bailey | 'Something'

 

It was powerful, but this is the first time I felt like she struggled with it. It was still vocally on point and in tune, but there was a sign of struggle at points. Better than her 'Make You Feel My Love' performance, but it's her second worst performance for me.
