November 12, 201312 yr I'm so glad she won't prevent 'Animals' this week, sadly reaching #1 is an inevitability at some point and it will be the worst #1 of the year when it does.
November 12, 201312 yr I knew it wouldn't be remotely close. I expect with Lily catching up on iTunes and the ad getting more coverage, the gap will be reduced to something like 15-20k by Sunday, although hopefully both should pass 100k (if only for the sake of high sales in Lily's case - three figures seems to much for that) Edited November 12, 201312 yr by Chez Wombat
November 12, 201312 yr Are we expecting One Direction's physical sales to do much for them this week? How much do they generally sell on CD single? 5k? 10k?
November 12, 201312 yr I really want the Killers to make the top 10 and Keane too, Celine should easy go top 5 but that is only my opinion. One Direction should easily manage a third week top 10 due to the physical release.
November 12, 201312 yr Author Martin Garrix on 55k, #2 Lily Allen is 25k behind, other new entries in the top 10 from Poppy Girls and Lady Gaga/R.Kelly. Robbie Williams just missed out, Justin Bieber top 20, Killers and Keane top 30. 7 new albums in the top 10 highest new entry at #1 for Lady Gaga on 38k, Celine Dion at #2 is 16k behind, making up the top 5 are Eminem, Little Mix, and the Killers. Beatles, Alfie Boe and Keane top 10, other new entries inside the top 20 from Cliff Richard, Daniel O'Donnell, Russell Watson, Erasure.

What were the sales for Born This Way like (at this stage?)
November 12, 201312 yr Martin Garrix should break 100k but 25k isnt too far to chase for Lily Allen if she continues to catch at the rate she has been could both be neck & neck by Sunday!! 38k isnt great for gaga, thought Eminem would have held up better!
November 12, 201312 yr 38k?? Oh shit, she's not even going to clear 100k is she? It looks about touch and go, although imagining all the little monsters buying it on the first day looks like perhaps not. :o
November 12, 201312 yr Author Where's Celine's single ^_^ Let's just say the two artists that were featured on the X Factor Results show they follow each other, just a little titbit, Britney drops 25 places, I thought I drop a penny there.

The Killers will top both the singles and albums charts by Sunday :P Being serious, I really thought they would make the albums top 3 but it looks unlikely now

November 12, 201312 yr 25k is probably a bit too big of a gap for Lily to overtake but she could actually get very close to #1 considering she's almost overtaken Garrix on iTunes already :o Didn't realise Daniel O'Donnell had returned to slay us once more. I think he and Cliff Richard both stand a chance of climbing into the top 10 over the week, Cliff did that with his last album for sure and I think Daniel has done that before as well. Wasn't expecting to see this Beatles album in the top 10 but then again they are The Beatles.

November 12, 201312 yr Lily could run Animals close, think next week the no1 will be between Gary BARLOW, Lily Allen & Eminem/Rihanna (eminem is in the uk promoing this week!
November 12, 201312 yr Ouch at Eminem, surprising! That said, the album has sold 150k in two weeks. Edited November 12, 201312 yr by SKOB
