"You were the best tonight, Sam, but I don't want you to win", cheers Beasty.

Always good to have Alexandra around.

 I thought exactly the same thing.

Much better than the first song. I still want them to leave as soon as possible though.

This is NOT what Rough Copy is about. But even when they sing something that exploits what they are about it's shit. So lose/lose.

Luke Friend - Best Thing I Never Had | 10/10

Nicholas McDonald - Halo | 0/10

Sam Bailey - If I Were A Boy | 10/10

Rough Copy - Survivor | 0.5/10

Nicholas McDonald - Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me | 0.5/10

Luke Friend - Something About the Way You Look Tonight | 10/10

Rough Copy - Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word | 0/10

Well NI is, but RoI aren't. I can only assume it would be the same with Scotland given they would then be a different country. This is all theoretical though and a bit too HEAVY for an X Factor thread.

STV is an entirely separate entity and buys into the rights to show X Factor UK as part of an en masse deal to show a load of ITV shows north of the border. They'd cry bloody murder if they got cut out of The X Factor crying about violation of contract.

Plus the whole ROI can vote thing (even though there are no auditions in ROI)

They've definitely hit it at the right time - two of my favourite performances from them they've given tonight. It was still offish - I never like them as much when they sing solo because they're a bit wobbly and tend to add 100000 notes when 1/2 would be enough. It was really good though and now... I will actually not begrudge them a place in the final. 8/10

Yeah a quick google proved I was talking shit.

Rough Copy (Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word) - THAT was the Rough Copy I have been waiting for! There was a few flat moments but I didn't really care, the rest of their vocals were so beautiful and the runs were brilliant. - 9.0/10.0

Beyonce Round:

Sam Bailey - 7.5

Rough Copy - 6.5

Luke Friend - 6.0

Nicholas McDonald - 0.5

Elton Round:

Rough Copy - 9.0

Luke Friend - 7.5

Nicholas McDonald - 5.0

It started off good, but by the middle there were some bad notes :( Still better than Nicholas

I thought Luke's Elton was better Beyoncé, although it was far less unique and 'him'. 8/10

Rough Copy were less shit than.usual, but still pretty weak. They are just too weak vocally and that's that. 5/10

That was more of a Westlife performance *.*

Why is that '*.*' worthy? It's the VERY ANTITHESIS.

That was more of a Westlife performance *.*

That doesn't mean necessarily a bad thing. Well, many times it does, but not this time.

Sam B - 8.5

It wasn't as good as I imagined it would be. :(
