I always hate this week...every song that's been out for months climbs back up the charts and newer tracks plummet!

 

MOst of the tracks that plummet are hardly *new*, though... :P

IMO he is benefiting more than others from gift cards, because parents are unwilling to be seen buying his records, even as presents.

Everyone has their own "thought that this would've benefitted from gift cards" favourites but mostly the songs are basically the biggest hits of the fall. Fairly predictable in the end.

It has benefited. It's up about 40 places since the beginning of the week with there still being no airplay or video.
