Yes, but it only missed #1 because it was released on a Friday. Its first 7 days of sales were enough to take #1 easily practically any week.

Radio 1 isn't the only measure of success on radio translating into iTunes preorders though - it's been played loads on commercial radio for example :P

Has she? I don't listen to commercial radio but always hear people saying on here that even if new songs are playlisted on capital sometimes they aren't played. But good to hear its popular at loads of radio stations - even radio 2 are playing it :o

Aviciis a good example - Wake me Up entered the top 10 2/3 days before it was released early!

Carry Me? It's at 75 on iTunes at the moment its highest placing since release mainly because of radio a listing for the past few weeks but it was removed this week from the playlist. I think they may move onto the second single 'Luna' to build up to the album.

It was on in the background of Eastenders during Ian Beale's engagement party in the Queen Vic last night. That could of had an effect I guess. I don't think many tracks normally get a boost that big from being used in EE though.
