Just when you thought Pat's house was finally gonna have a bit more space! :drama: I don't know how they survive without getting on top of each other and winding each other up constantly. There's no personal space in that house!

Carol, David, Shabnam, Tamwar and Masood all need to be the next few casualties of exits / axes; they're all absolutely terrible characters.

Stacey back though

They've all been pretty good this week though. But you thought Joey and Kirsty were second and third comings of characters so shows what you'd know...

The difference being both Kirsty and Joey actually had solid stories keeping them relevant and necessary (accompanied by brilliant acting, contrary to popular belief) while both Carol-cancer and Masood-gambling/hitting rock bottom are just scraping the barrel to try and keep the characters in line with the new direction the show is going in. Completely worthless.

Kierston Wareing was a great actress in fairness, it's a shame that Kirsty was largely a pretty shit character and a waste of an actress who had a lot of potential.

David Witts was only good for one thing and it sure as hell wasn't his acting...

Carol is one of the all time greats. And unlike Sharon she's written and acted perfection. Utter adoration from moi.
The actors who play David and Sharron have far too many bad habits when they act, from the heavy breathing or having to at least wink once in every episode.

I can't remember any strong, interesting storylines keeping them relevant that didn't feel extremely forced. You are deluded to equate Carol with useless.

Kirsty and Joey? Relevant storylines? They never bloody did anything! Kirsty chased after Max for a year and Joey, umm... Nope, I'm drawingma blank. Calum must be trolling us at this point.
I admit I did have to chuckle at the very idea of Joey and Kirsty having had "solid stories."

It's that and the notion of Carol's cancer storyline being 'scraping the barrel' that makes me

So is Alfie having an affair? Thoughts?

It being just months after Tanya's cancer storyline kind of washes away anything possible to emote at all.

Tanya's 'now you see it, now you don't' cancer storyline from over 2 years ago that was so slap dash you'd have thought she had a cold instead? Seriously, I know everyone is different but you really take e biscuit in deludedness.

Hardly delusion; just a bit clueless as to where the goodness in Carol's story is. It was decent leading up to the reveal but since then they've been milking it dry.

Personally I've enjoyed Carol's storyline so far. It's the little things I like, for instance when she pulled her hair back and covered it with her hands to see what she'd look like bald. That for me is very believable. I think both the actress and the character are great, not sure why many disagree here.
Oh I'm definitely enjoying Carol's storyline. In my opinion, I think it's been beautifully executed so far, and is very truthful.
I prefer Carol's storyline to Tanya's, although I hate the whole 'I can't tell anyone' line that they both pulled. I thin Carol is being less dramatic than Tanya was which I like :)

also very much enjoying carol's storyline

good to see alfi back too. can kat convince him she saw stacy?

hmm
