YES Cheryl picked the exact three I wanted  Quite like Lola too so I hope she is the wildcard for the girls. Jack Walton needs to be the boys wildcard as well!

really hope that kerianne is the girls' wildcard, or lola failing that. lauren and stephanie are alright, but no way near as good imo. at least chloe got through I suppose, she smashed it. her and andrea are by far my favourites that have made it through.
I'm gonna say right now, I'm normally good at picking out the winner/2nd place. My tips right here are Lauren & Paul. I'll be putting some money on them.

Thank GOD that basic Lola bitch did not get through. Stephanie is MUCH MUCH better. She may be lacking in range, but she just oozes star potential.

Simon is screwed with his category. As much as I like Fleur she is an obvious first elimination sadly.

Really?! They both seriously lack a personality or any stage presence imo.

Although I suppose Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald were the top two last year ...

Seriously doubt Paul will make the top 2. He'll end up doing what Hannah Barrett did last year, I imagine - always in the bottom two and slipping through until they can't be arsed saving him any more.

Pretty happy with the final 12 overall tbh . I defintley think Cheryl made the RIGHT choices regarding the girls . Lola and Kerriane although are good singers I they are both quite dull. Lauren who is similar sort of singer is much better and much more marketable IMO . I also really like Stephanie and I'm glad she got picked she has so much potential and could be a possible dark horse I think . My predictions for the Wildcards are :

Girls- Lola

Boys- Jack

Groups- Probably Concept but I hope it's the New Girl Group

Overs - Stevi the other two are really boring so I think Simon will go with him

Edited by troylovesmusic

^ that seems like the most likely outcome. Concept would be my preferred of the groups too!

I really am praying Jack W makes it. I need someone to really root for and he'd be it in the early stages at least. Unless there's some Maloney sized twist and only one of them actually survives the first week (ie. it would be Stevi this series :/)

I'm thinking Fleur will do much better than people think she will. She'll have a steady rise in popularity I reckon (similar to Little Mix - except I doubt (at this moment) she will go all the way). Can't see Lauren being a favourite at all but I think she could get about midway. First elimination (going on the final 12) will be Bonde Electra, I think. Bottom 2 with Chloe. Chloe will be in and out of the bottom 2 I think.
At this stage, I think Andrea stands a very good chance of winning it, I think of the two 'belters', he'll be more popular than Paul. I'd possibly put my money on Ben Haenow right now though, he's my mum's favourite, I imagine he's a lot of mum's favourites. Gravelly voice, sings accessible 'rock' tracks, good looking, ticks most boxes that would appeal to the typical voter, I'd say, in a similar way to Matt Cardle.

I think overall we have a very good final 12 and my unpopular opinion is that Blonde Electra are actually probably in my top 5 - they remind me of a cross between the amazing Icona Pop and NERVO!

Cheryl (or the producers) pleasantly surprised me with her choices in the Girls category. I've already explained why Steph is such a surprise, but with choosing Chloe and Lauren, Cheryl has chosen three very different acts whereas if she'd had Lola, Kerrianne and Lauren to an extent then they'd all be very similar. While Lola and Kerrianne are probably more accessible to the voting public (and yes it's probably very likely Lola will be back next week as the wildcard anyway), I'm glad they've took a risk in going for the more unique acts - except for Emily of course who was also great.

Yes, I agree. I was thinking Ben is proably the most likely to win at this point. I think I may put some money on him! As much as her personality will annoy, Chloe will do incredibly well if she was to just release an album! I think she could become the UK's equivalent to Caro Emerald.
I find Chloe much more endearing than say Kitty or Katie who she might be compared to. I just think she is awkward, not necessarily arrogant or anything so I hope she does well. I think she could potentially do as good as say Cher Lloyd or Misha B.

Oh and I really really REALLY hope we dont have a middle aged boring nice voice win it again this year. Sam Bailey is proof that big voices can be nice, but so f***ing dull.

I really want another performer like Alexandra/Little Mix/Shayne Ward/James Arthur

Sam's voice AIN'T EVEN THAT GOOD. I'm sensing a near certainty of a male winner and right now I have a horrible feeling it's going to be Paul or Jay. The mere thought of which makes me want to stop watching.

I think he'll grow in to the competition similar to James Arthur. Get that vibe that he will have crossover appeal, which I'm not sure some of others will. I think Andrea will do very well, but that 'mum' vote is going to be split between Andrea/Ben/the other male Overs. Do we actually know how the votes are done this year? Surely if they have any sense they'll start using App/social media voting to make a more relevant winner.

Didn't they allow app voting last year? I remember Dermot BANGING ON about it a lot anyway. It does seem like a logical step really if they aren't already doing it.
If social media voting became a thing, boybands would be winning every year, let's face it.
