The UK will LOVE her I reckon.

I'm not too sure. If it works out it'll be amazing for her as the UK was never really here for her like the US and Australia were.

 

Ke$ha isn't really known for her vocals, so I'm not sure how she will be received as a judge for a vocal competition

 

I love her, so it'd be amazing to see her on TV

Mel B is an amazing judge, I'd love it to be her! Terrible mentor though, she seemed to pick the wrong song for her acts virtually all the time on XF Australia.

 

Ke$ha would probably be fab too and probably has a better voice than Mel, who embarrassed herself singing Who Do You Think You Are on Aussie X-Factor a couple of years back :lol:

I thought you were talking about Keisha actually and the idea of having her of the show was quite amazing. :lol:

Or Louis Walsh or basically 90% of talent show judges all over the world.

Especially on X Factor, where it's more about knowing what the music industry is about and how to become a great popstar.

 

It's like saying people can't have an opinion on singers if they're not great vocalists themselves. If that's it then we can as well close Buzzjack right now because I'm not sure we have a lot of Mariah Carey's on the forum.

 

Mel B cant do this she has way to many commitments: America's got talent, The Voice Kids (In Australia) and she is also a radio DJ in australia around the time she is on The Voice Kids.

 

I would LOVE for Kesha to be a Judge she has an amazing personality and has had success so i hope she gets it.

Louis has never claimed to be able to sing in the first place though? There are two types of judges - managers (aka. Louis, Sharon, Simon, etc.), then those singers who have been there, done it and worn the t-shirt (Cheryl, Nicole, Kelly, Dannii, etc.). Don't think that was the best comparison that could have been made :lol:

I know but the old "Cheryl can't sing she can't judge" thing is so old now and so biased. She has won a talent show, survived 12 years so far in the music industry and has been through no less than 9 album campaigns (the 10th about to start) and something like 6 arena tours so I'm still surprised everytime someone questions her ability to mentor an act on the X Factor.

And as far as the vocals are concerned, I'm not quite sure Dannii is famous for her outstanding voal abilities either, yet she never gets the blame for that here.

 

For the record, Louis Walsh dropped Girls Aloud after the 1st album because he didn't think they would get any success after that and for the short time he managed them he was a terrible, terrible manager who never supported them in any daily aspect of their popstar job. This clearly shows how good he is to spot talent and how much he cares for new acts.

Show boss Simon Cowell, 54, is willing to break the bank to secure Scary Spice’s place on the panel in time for auditions starting in June.

 

Singer Mel, 38, had in-depth talks with execs at ITV last week and last-minute details about her contract are now being agreed.

 

The move will see her join Simon, Louis Walsh, 61, and Cheryl Cole, 30, on the talent show, which returns to our screens in the summer.

 

A source close to Louis has told the Daily Star Sunday Mel is due to sign on the dotted line any day now.

 

The insider added: “It’s pretty much a done deal. And ­Simon thinks Mel will be perfect for the show.

 

“Fine details such as her expenses budget and filming dates need to be agreed. Other than that, she’s ready to go.”

 

Mel’s massive pay day will mean Simon is well over budget in spending on the panel for this year’s series.

 

He has already had to fork out £1.5million to entice Cheryl to ­return.

 

Execs had requested the fourth judge cost less than £900,000.

 

But they have been forced to agree to the seven-figure fee for Mel ­after struggling to fill the fourth spot with a big enough name.

PLEEEASE can this be true! Mel B's amazing on America's Got Talent and I loved her guest stint on the show a few years back. :wub:

I've never seen anything including Mel B since her time with the Spice Girls so I don't have a clue if she's the right person for the job. :lol:

 

New Rumours are Tinie Tempah could possibly be replacing Louis and that Mel B is in indepth talks for a Judging Role.

 

I think that'd be a really good line-up, I love Mel B and I think Tinie would bring something different to the show, hope its true.

Mel B, excellent as a judge, awful mentor.

I think Tinie would be great. Seems like a lovely guy, would offer a different perspective and he could do with the career boost.
