I haaaate that 'Dibby Dibby Sound' track with a passion, but I can see it going to #1 sadly.

Do you know of anyone who admits to liking it?

Do you know of anyone who admits to liking it?

:hi:

It isn't as good as 'Earthquake' which was one of my favourite songs of last year but it'd be great to see it going to #1, especially as it'd be a much overdue first #1 for Ms. Dynamite.

The only other people I know IRL who have heard it are my housemate who hates it, and one of my friends when we saw the video on the music channels and he described it as annoying. On here a select few seem to though...

19. Shakira - Can't Remember To Forget You (feat. Rihanna)

This reminds me quite a bit of when 'Work Bitch' rebounded quite strongly in the US after its video came out but then died right after anyway. Hope that isn't the fate of this song.

Better than Earthquake for me. LOVE Ms Dynamite's parts and the 'Dibby Dibby' bits aren't as annoying as I thought they would be when I initially heard it. It's great to see Ms Dynamite having continued success!

This song is certainly not going to be their next 'Kiss You' and I imagine it will miss the top 10 but I can see it outselling 'One Thing' despite that.

I think it will still just about go top 10 but it isn't going to come close to the success of 'Kiss You'. Maybe.
It's still too early to judge Midnight Memories IMO, especially as neither Capital nor Radio 1 have playlisted it yet (its impact date is 2nd March).

I do not know what impact date means but 'Kiss You' got a rather stellar video boost if I recall and this isn't matching it so far.

Not to mention the fact 'Kiss You' went top 20 off the back of its X Factor performance while 'Midnight Memories' didn't even go top 40. (I know, lower viewing figures etc.)

I'll be the third person to admit to liking 'Dibby Dibby Sound', although I hope Clean Bandit stops it from going to #1 as their song is a lot better and deserves the long #1 stay.

'Midnight Memories' is a shocking choice of single when they've 'Diana' and 'Strong' at their disposal. I haven't even heard the rest of the songs on their album but those two would do a lot better IMO.

I think Midnight Memories is a MUCH better choice than them two (especially Diana which is one of the weakest on the album for me). Happily would've been my ideal choice though, gonna be this era's More Than This/Rock Me though I think. :( (well More Than This was an Australian single but not a UK one)

Actually I heard 'Happily' after seeing good reviews and I agree on that one. We'll agree to disagree on 'Diana' though; it's an absolute choon of almost Directioner-converting proportions. Almost. :P

Make that four people!!

Though I agree that Clean Bandit deserve to stay at number one! If they sell 130k this week even if sales fall again next week I still think Rather Be will stay top with 90k and I can't see DJ Fresh doing more than 75-80k as the pre order still hasnt gone top 40 though I could be wrong

Completely agree! 'Diana' or 'Strong' would have been perfect choices, and I imagine both would have done well (maybe low top 10, but even that would still be amazing!) - and a video for 'Diana' would have been fab
