March 16, 201412 yr The e-oh-oh-oh-oh bit in this song is so annoying! The rest is great but a shame to see it missing the top 10 :(
March 16, 201412 yr Almost 30 years into Kylie's career, I don't think that #12 is anything to worry about at all. It's not as if it's signalling a massive career dip like Impossible Princess and its singles did. It's certainly not as good as All The Lovers but it's a very strong and punchy pop song nonetheless. The final 20 second string outro is stunning, I wish the strings were higher in the mix throughout the whole song.
March 16, 201412 yr This sounds a little bit dated in all honesty, I could mix this up with anything else she's done.
March 16, 201412 yr That chart history for Kylie is quite impressive how she came from being irrelevant in the 90's to coming back with a massive Number 1 in 2000.

Formed while Axel and Vaccarino were music business students at New York University, the duo toured in 2011, playing their own songs as well as covers by such artists as Ingrid Michaelson and Five for Fighting. In 2012, they officially adopted the name A Great Big World and released a Kickstarter-funded self-titled EP. In 2013, the duo's profile was raised significantly after their song "This Is the New" was covered on the Fox TV show Glee and licensed for use on various other TV shows. That same year, A Great Big World signed to Epic and released the three-song EP This Is the New Year, which featured the single "Say Something," a duet with Christina Aguilera. Their full-length debut, Is There Anybody Out There?, followed in early 2014. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): A Great Big World 2014 04 Say Something (A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera) -1- Christina Aguilera 1999 01 Genie In A Bottle -1- 2000 03 What A Girl Wants -2- 2000 19 I Turn To You -3- 2000 08 Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You) -4- 2001 04 Nobody Wants To Be Lonely (Ricky Martin With Christina Aguilera) 2001 01 Lady Marmalade (Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya & P!nk) -OST- 2002 01 Dirrty (Christina Aguilera Feat. March 16, 201412 yr Adore this song, although the video is quite awkward since only one of the duo sing and the other one just kinda stands
March 16, 201412 yr That chart history for Kylie is quite impressive how she came from being irrelevant in the 90's to coming back with a massive Number 1 in 2000. The switch from ill advised faux-indie to camp pop was perfectly timed!
March 16, 201412 yr Into The Blue  Say Something should've stayed in the top 10, such a beautiful song

Surprised A Great Big World only had 3 weeks top 10, I thought it might have been a 10+ weeks top 10 sort of song - glad it hasn't been though as it's still v boring. Good news folks, the entertainment news is still happening :cheer: It's better for it to be after 6pm so time isn't wasted before then.
March 16, 201412 yr So the Top 5 entertainment stories hasn't been scrapped, just moved to the top 10 section. I personally think that's a good move, it acts as a filler for the last hour.
March 16, 201412 yr What is this borefest? :o How come I've never heard the song and it was Top 10?
March 16, 201412 yr Pixie Lott did make the top 10 in the end, she shouldn't be there instead of Kylie but Flo Rida and Enrique are worse offnders. On the one hand, it's nice to have an action packed week with a lot of new entries to clear out the dead wood.
