An alternate version of the German Whip video, It would be truly shocking if a grime song like this went to #1:

Does anybody know what the highest grime song to chart is? I'm thinking maybe Forward Riddim or Oi! (if that counts as a grime song). I'm probably missing something really obvious .

 15. Coldplay "Magic"

 23. Katy B "Crying For No Reason"

Love both of these so it's great to see them getting a nice boost. Also, g'won HAIM going top 40 .

163. Anastacia - Stupid Little Things

307. Kylie Minogue & Jason Donovan - Especially for You

WTF were Sport Relief thinking, having that idiot Walliams ruining Kylie's performance though, especially the mislead? :puke:

Not sure if it counts as grime as it was far more commercial than most grime songs, but Wiley's 'Heatwave' was a #1, 'Wearing My Rolex' made #2, and 'Can You Hear Me' went to #3

Well that was kind of the whole point of the performance, it was essentially meant to be a comedy sketch in a performance!

And for those that missed it

I wouldn't count them as grime, since Heatwave and Can You Hear Me are dance-pop, and Wearing My Rolex is some sub-genre of house (the same as Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah and Perfect/Exceeder).

The point of Sport Relief is to raise money through things that will attract people's attention, not for the artists to use it as promo to raise money for themselves.

Is this song finally going to get to a million? Seems like it's been stuck at 990,000 forever!

Baauer - Harlem Shake ?

It's at 997k now, so it only needs 3k - so a million sales could happen sometime this year.

That's not grime, that's trap :P

Ah yes, just checked.

'Happy' back at #3.

I remember blasting it on the radio when I worked at HMV for a Christmas job back in November - December. Can't believe that three months later it's at #3 on iTunes still and it's already sold over a million.

Insane.
