I wonder how much of Don't You Want Me's 1.5 million sales were from its original run?
A bit sick of this now due to listening to it far too much! :P

 I know what you mean. There's only so much I can play it before it turns into hate, which it did for me a few weeks ago!

Wow at this going top 20! It's great to see 80s classics back in the chart. First 'We Built This City', now 'Don't You Love Me', what next? (Vienna please)

Oh yes please! 'Vienna' actually sounds like the sort of song that'd be an enormous hit were it released now, so ahead of its time production wise.

Biography

Christina Judith Perri (born August 19, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and musician from Philadelphia. Her song "Jar of Hearts" charted in the United States after it was featured on the Fox television show So You Think You Can Dance in 2010. Rolling Stone named her the "Band of the Week" on October 26, 2010. On May 10, 2011, Perri's "Jar of Hearts" was featured in the "Prom Night" episode of Fox musical series Glee; the following month, it was featured in the episode "Dance Amongst Daggers" of ABC Family drama Switched at Birth. Perri recorded the song "A Thousand Years" for the film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (2011) and it appears on the accompanying soundtrack. Christina grew up in Bensalem, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Philadelphia) with her older brother, Nick Perri, who formerly played guitar with Shinedown, Silvertide, Perry Farrell and Matt Sorum. Her father is from Italy and mother from Poland.[citation needed] She attended Nazareth Academy High School but transferred to Archbishop Ryan High School to graduate as a member of the class of 2004. She taught herself how to play guitar as a 16-year-old by watching a videotape of Shannon Hoon from the group Blind Melon performing on VH1. - Wikipedia

Pitbull ruins this though js

Good Pitbull songs aren't good because of Pitbull, they are good because Pitbull does not ruin them much.

Biography

Tijs Michiel Verwest, born 17 January 1969), known as Tiësto (/tiˈɛstoʊ/ tee-ES-toh; Dutch pronunciation: [ˈcɛstoː]), is a Dutch musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an artist name which is a twist of his childhood nickname. In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. Tiësto met producer Dennis Waakop Reijers in 1998, and the two have worked together extensively since then. Reijers is credited as producer, writer, composer, or arranger on many of Tiësto's releases. In 1999 and 2000 Tiësto collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001, he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He ranked at #1 on DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs Poll consecutively for three years from 2002 to 2004.

Just after releasing his second studio album Just Be in 2004 at the Summer Olympics, he performed live at the opening ceremony in Athens, Greece, becoming the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympics. Tracks he made especially for the Olympics were mixed together and released as the mix compilation Parade of the Athletes later that year. In April 2007 Tiësto launched both his radio show Tiësto's Club Life on Radio 538 in the Netherlands and released his third studio album Elements of Life. The album reached number one on the Dutch album chart as well on "Billboard Top Electronic Albums" in the U.S. and received a nomination for a Grammy Award in 2008. Tiësto released his fourth studio album Kaleidoscope in October 2009. - Wikipedia

Discussion Thread Here

Red Lights is so good. I thought it was going to be just blaring noise at first but so glad I gave it a listen
'Red Lights' is surprisingly actually still growing on me - thought I'd be beyond bored of it by now like 'This Is What It Feels Like' but apparently not! I don't hold much hope for liking his next single though given it features Icona Pop :drama:
