I do think that I Got U and My Love are going to be on loads of club classics compilations for years to come.
At this moment in time I guess we can only say 'Rather Be' will be remembered cause it's the song that's 'kickstarted' the dance trend and that it's still fairly unique. Perhaps Hideaway too but to me it still doesn't feel 'massive' in that sense yet.
Considering Touch's EP started at #2, I think I can comfortably say that this song might go Top 5 come Sunday!
Shift K3Y doing a lot better than I thought, I thought about 8 would be where it would stay :o

Need U (100%) was almost 100x better than I Got U :( So annoying.

Kiesza seems to be decreasing fairly rapidly already, I guess her new sales are struggling to keep up with the pre-orders (which is what I thought would happen to Meridian Dan incidentally but he managed to hold out for a bit longer before starting to decrease surprisingly!) I'm sure she'll stabilise again soon anyway.

Wow at Shift K3Y, looks like he may be able to get to #3 tomorrow! (Proving why EP pre-orders >>> single pre-orders as they are much more unpredictable :heehee:)

Need U (100%) is quite possibly the best dance song of the past few years

Agreed! I actually loved the majority of last years big dance hits. I Could Be The One, Need U (100%), Waiting All Night, Summertime Sadness, White Noise, I Need Your Love, Look Right Through were all so so good. I do like dance music, just when it has a bit more personality to it.

'Look Right Through' seems very out of place in that list, I would have thought you'd hate that even more than most others!

I despise Look Right Through more than nearly all of the dance tracks I moan about this year :puke:

White Noise, I Need Your Love, Waiting All Night and especially Summertime Sadness are amazing though!

I tasked myself with remembering dance songs, any songs, from the last 15 years or so (excluding 2013 and this year). I came up with the following, in this order:

Sweet Like Chocolate, Flat Beat, Blue (Da Ba Dee), One More Time, Groovejet, Satisfaction, Call On Me, Come Back.

I am sure that I'll remember Hideaway, Need U (100%), Rather Be etc as fondly as those songs above. Dance music is definitely in a renaissance atm and I love it

A lot of these dance hits are proving to be genuine hits though, so I think in that sense they have a good shot at being remembered. It's the songs that fly down the charts and never return that are normally forgotten (which it sadly looks like Changes is doing...).
I would say that Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine) was a big hit last year but I sadly don't think it's remebered that well now let alone in the future :(
Just heard the track from Shift K3Y for the first time, its alright, at least its better than the chavvy track from Meridian Dan.
Oh how could I forget Hideaway? Probably going to be one of the most remembered songs of the decade if anything.
Surely the fact you "forgot" 'Hideaway' already, makes your final point mute?
