I laughed so much yesterday!! David Walliams is my favourite British comedian. He is totally hilarious!!! I didn't like so much Ricky K. His first audition was very good and funny but I felt that he did the same thing without a good concept. Ed Drewett was average and I don't think that he is a good singer. James Smith is overrated and I have watched a lot of young people with this performance (X-Factor, Voice etc). He is nothing special. SweetChix reminds me of "Fifth Harmony". The latter failed to have an impact on Europe. So, I don't think that SweetChix will have an impact on U.k too. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the performance of Jodi Bird. She was really good. I don't like the original screechfest. Jodi Bird should sing the original version. :P Mini Moves were very good too. I liked their dance moves. However, my favourite contestants were Bolddog FMX Team and The Addict Initiative.

PS I just checked the winners. I'm so disappointed with the results. James Smith instead of "Bolddog FMX Team"....? I don't think that the majority of the voters can ride a motorcycle like them but I'm sure that many of them can sing like James Smith. Fail. Bye

Just watched James on Youtube and I seriously don't get the fuss. He can sing well enough but he's no different to someone I could find singing in any school assembly to my ears...
James was amazing, head and shoulders above everyone else last night so totally deserves his spot in the final. Easily my favourite so far also.
Just watched all of last night's performances on YouTube, another awful semi :drama: James was absolutely fantastic though, so glad to see he won it!

Yesterday was one of the worst semi-finals ever probably. The 'talent' was just awful! Only the top 3 were good.

Tonight's looks quite poor too. REAformed (the golden buzzer girlgroup) is the only act I'm looking forward to.

Oh dear, another dreadful semi :drama:

Lucy was fantastic and deserved to go straight through. Those three dipshits getting through over Cartel (who were OK but not amazing) was a bit of a srs: moment. REAformed had so much potential to grow beyond this performance, so was gutted to see them get sent home. :( Everyone else was either utter shit or just not my cup of tea, and by CHRIST that Ellis thing is/was seriously annoying.

The semis haven't been great so far but I do think we're looking at a pretty good final overall. Can The Vamps come back and win? :kink:

I though the girl band were unoriginal with an uninspired choice of song. Cartel were better than the three men in high heels but the public obviously disagreed. The must have gone for the laughs above anything else. Overall thigh it seemed to be a case of throwing a lot of the worst acts into one semi-final. It would have been better with only four (or even three) SFs rather than having a lot of acts which were simply not good enough. However, if the viewing figures remain high, no doubt they will do the same next year.

Except he had the courage to perform in front of a large audience and on live television. Of course he will also have got lots of votes from teenage girls. I thought his performance was pretty good though. He chose a really good song but then adapted it to suit a solo singer with a guitar. Give him a few years and he may be capable of writing some decent songs himself.

As for Ed Drewett, he's not a bad singer but he's not a great singer either. He should be content with writing hit songs. After all, there's plenty of money to be made with the added bonus that you can walk down the street without constant harassment from fans. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I'm sorry but the three guys in heels were by far better technical dancers than Cartel it's very hard to dance in heels like that and they pulled it of with ease I think the right two went through .

I'm not denying that dancing in high heels is difficult. I can't dance in any footwear but I'm sure maintaining balance in high heels is quite an achievement. I just think their act was more for the laughs than Cartel's act. There is, of course, nothing wrong with that at all. The viewing public obviously enjoyed it and that's what counts in this competition.

something to tell us??

They were BY FAR my favourite act of the night. In fact I thought everyone else, aside from them and Lucy, was average at best. The only thing of particular note to take from Cartel's performance was the OMG SHOCK moment of the older guy joining in.

I saw the Top 3 coming a mile off, though I did expect Cartel to go through in the stiletto guys' place, so was pleasantly surprised!

something to tell us??
What do you wanna know ?? I'm a dancer and I've been around girls who have had to dance in heels occasionally so I know it's not an easy thing :) .

I had a watch of last night's acts on Youtube and I didn't think much of many of them except Lucy Kay, REAformed and the stiletto guys were quite funny. I'm not a fan of opera but Lucy has a perfect tone and control, can't fault her there. REAformed admittedly need some development and I agree it wasn't exactly the most inspired of song choices but they were a lot better than most acts, although they should maybe have waited a couple of years. I would say they should try X-Factor but they'd probably get about as far as Miss Dynamix

Hmm true, I guess I'm biased as I hardly ever like guitar wielding singers who just adapt songs to acoustic versions like him, and I'm not much of a fan of his voice. In an awful semi he was one of the best but not my favourite.

Lucy Kay was amazing yesterday!!! She has a divine voice and her performance was so emotional. She is gorgeous too!! I really liked Yanis Marshall, Arnaud and Mehdi!! I guess that it's so difficult for a man to dance in heels. I liked their music selections too! Cartel were also very good and I liked their music selections too (Especially "Yeah"). I laughed so much with Sam Jones's baby Leo but I felt that Simon was offended by their performance (I didn't watch the comments). I noticed that the rest of judges didn't enjoy it too. I really don't want to listen another bland version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". Oh my gosh..These people are so boring..? One million songs have realised worldwide and some people want to impress with the same songs!! Epic fail! Next! REAformed were quite good and I liked the fact that they choosed a less popular song of Beyo!!! Ellis Chick was very good too. It's pleasant when you see children to sing mature songs and not the most obvious choices (Justin Bieber..?). Brian Chan is an original artist but his flawless performance was not so "flawless" at all.. :P
Paddy and Nico have had to withdraw due to Paddy being injured, she's bedridden by her injury :(
