The semi final wasn't the best yesterday. However, some of the contestants were good. My favourites were Paddy & Nico and Kieran Lai but I felt that both of them were better in their auditions. La Voix and the London Gay Big Band were good but it was a "typical good drag show". It was not something special for me. Jenson Zhu was very funny. I laughed a lot but he is still an amateur.. :) "Kings and Queens" weren't good yesterday. I felt that their dance moves were random. "Peat Loaf & Elaine" were decent but there isn't a special talent here. An imatitation of Meat Loaf..? Hell, no! "Jack Pack" had a decent performance but we have heard a lot of times these kind of songs from boybands with costumes..Bailey seems a respectful kid (and not a spoiled one as many others) and he was good yesterday. The fact that he writes his own songs, it means something..I really liked Andrew Derbyshire in his audition but I hated him yesterday... His song choice was so predictable!!!I can't believe that there are so many good songs and some (boring) contestants choose this song.. I hope these kinds of shows (X-Factor, Britain's Got Talent, Voice) will ban these songs forever (Listen, And I am telling you I'm not going, Ain't No Mountain High Enough).

HUGE shock at the Irish dancers being top 3 instead of Light Balance. I thought it'd be Light Balance who joined Bars & Melody in the final.

 

They probably had most of Northern Ireland voting for them.

 

 

Fantastic that Paddy recovered and what a performance it was.

Collabro are by far my favourites and I think they will sell some records, but I think Bars & Melody stand the best chance.

Why does everyone singing Michael Buble tracks feel the need to sing it in the voice of Michael Buble, in that murmured American voice. Irritating.

 

I think Collabro have won it before their performance. Bars & Melody were on too early, Collabro coming right at the end. Calling it now~

Darcy really needs to win, he's kept my attention with his act every time he's performed and is a true variety act as well. I just hope the fact that he was a runner-up doesn't mean that he has no chance.

Yeah, I would love Darcy to win for the reason that Ryan has said. I don't believe he will and think it's Collabro vs Lucy, but if Darcy could come top 3, I still think that would be a big achievement given that magicians usually do nothing.

 

I'm not betting on it though, can still see him finishing about 5th, but that was my favourite act of the night.

I'm not actually watching it live but I did see a lot of the semi finals and I'm hoping that the voters are so split between all of the different singing acts that the magician will somehow steal it.

 

If it has to be a singer then I probably like Lucy the most out of them all.

As it was the only act in that segment, I assume there was a delay just in case. Presumably there is also some agreed signal he can give that he wants the fire put out immediately. That doesn't make the act any less impressive of course!

Pretty much exactly my thoughts! I was gonna watch the final but the only acts I really like in the final are Lucy, Lettice and Darcy, the latter of whom is incredible. Lucy isn't my thing usually but she's got such a clear and perfect voice <3 Lettice is probably more for her personality but I like her performances too.

 

I'm pretty sure Collabro will walk it unfortunately but I really can't stand them. They can sing but... idk there's just something I really don't like.
