(for anyone who wasn't already aware 'ASFOS' is not the song title, it's 'A Sky Full Of Stars' - maybe best not to assume people would recognise an acronym of an unreleased song :P)

That doesn't necessarily mean it won't be released as an instant grat. 'Magic' doesn't have a single release despite obviously being a single (but it is eligible anyway as it is the 'nominated' instant grat from the album).

Yay for 'Marilyn Monroe' breaking the top 40 fairly quickly for a post-album single! Heard it the other day, another great song and quite pleased that it isn't just a clone of 'Happy', sounds more like his older solo singles. Hope it can be at least another top 10 hit (of course it should be no problem as the follow-up to such an enormous hit, but that didn't work with 'Lose Yourself To Dance' :P And it's still in danger of being too overshadowed by 'Happy').

It was Zane Lowes Hottest Record in the world tonight & I wouldn't be surprised if it is tomorrow's track of the day. Is it officially credited to Avicii? If it's not officially released as a single it could do quite well the week the albums released!

Avicii is just a co-producer (along with Paul Epworth of Adele fame). Knowing him he'll probably DEMAND to be credited though :heehee:

Interesting Iggy's 'Fancy' is shaping up to be a HUGE hit in the US.

 

I wonder if the UK will follow suit. Up till now she has easily gained most of her worldwide success from here.

I had little doubt (basically just the fact it was Iggy is what was making me doubt) about it being a success in the US! Afterall it IS a similar song (production wise) to the stuff like 'Rack City' which has been huge in the US. (Can't remember how well 'Feeling Myself' did over there though)
