Gotta be honest I haven't really taken much interest in them before but this is really nice!

So boring. A must-have essential on my "Time To Go To Sleep" playlist.
Love the way that this builds up and the sample is great, not as jarring as I expected on paper.
The sample works towards the end, but the production when it first comes in just isn't fluid enough. I genuinely thought I had another song playing in another tab.
Gorgeous, possibly the first Alt-J I've really adored, the Miley sample fits perfectly

Second release from the album. Apperently it's a 'joke' song meant as an FU to their American label who demanded a mainstream hit but I LOVE it. Hoping it can be their Pumped Up Kicks.

So obviously taking the piss but there's something really endearing about it. Very early '70s art rock vibe to it.
This sounds less like a mainstream hit than most of their other singles to me so if that was their intention I wouldn't say they did a particularly good job. Not a bad song though (and 'Hunger Of The Pine' is very good and has v excited me for the album ~)

Here is the official video for "Hunger Of The Pine"

Would have been nice to have a cameo from Miley (being shot by thousands of arrows), but you can't have everything.

Every Other Freckle is really getting me at the moment, I thought Left Hand Free was good but this is something else, probably their best track for me now. I hope this could be even better than their debut from the tracks so far.
I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a follow-up era. 'Hunger of the Pine' was hardly bad but it certainly didn't touch the levels of previous singles, the two songs since though are just so boring, nothing to them at all.

Listening to this album is very relaxing whilst getting on with schoolwork. I'm liking it on first listen.

'Hunger of the Pine' is still definitely the highlight, though.
