It's perfectly reasonable to speculate about it, considering a pass to the final from week one is unprecedented and it's a regular topic of discussion for the housemates themselves. BB have surprised us with twists upon twists throughout this series so I don't think it's 'pretty obvious' that it'll be kept whatsoever. Besides, I don't think people go on about it too much here at all.

Stopped watching the highlight shows but watched the eviction bit from last night. SO HAPPY that Steven is out! Finally the public have done the right thing since Pauline's eviction and Biannca's exit excluded.
Omg, Christopher as a woman and saying he looks like Denise Welsh.
I've just watched that too, she's so funny!
Ashleigh should be permanently drunk  she is absolutely hilarious, she doesn't even try and she's funnier than try-hard Mark!

Chris really confused me in last night's episode. I was delighted when he said it exactly how it is re: Steven, in the diary room... but how he acted once he left was pretty bizarre. Bad mouthing Pav with Ash, feeling highly regretful with Ashleigh "it's our fault he's gone", crying in front of Helen... He's definitely gone down in my estimations.

I feel pretty sorry for Pav at this point. Based on what I've seen (every highlight episode involving him) I have absolutely no idea why he got such strong boos from the crowd, and why the house are so wary of him that they're keen to ostracize him? Ok he said some things in his VT, but give the guy a chance.

I feel like the housemates saw a side to Steven that we never did. Obviously the housemates all lived with Steven 24/7 for 7 weeks, whereas we saw highlights. I'm sure BB wouldn't have edited him in a deliberately bad way to the point that all we saw was a highly irritating & self-obsessed individual, whereas the housemates saw him as a loyal friend who will leave a hole in the house? The inconsistency is frustrating. Usually the public view more or less reflects how the housemates feel overall. For the housemates to say "the public have got him wrong" is frustrating.

Am I the only one who's not totally loving Zoe at the moment? She does seem like a fun and bubbly girl, which is great, but I also feel like she's very self-aware and knows exactly how she should come across in any situation, to put herself in the best light. I don't think she's fully let go since she's been here. I'm starting to see her as a more intelligent and subtle version of Mark - I think she absolutely wants to win, and is acting in a particular way to ensure this happens. I don't think she's 100% genuine, as much as she protests that she is. Don't get me wrong, I do like her a lot, but I definitely think Matthew was being quite perceptive with his comments about her.

Best moment of last night's episode was probably Christopher getting dressed up as a woman. I do hope he makes it to the final. He's lovely, and a few of them haven't treated him too nicely over the 7 weeks. He's consistently been very straight forward and honest with housemates, but some of them haven't afforded him with the same level of respect.

^ Very hard to add to that as I agree with pretty much everything. Great post!

Regarding Chris: he has been irritating me recently with his split Diary Room/house personality. For example, his explanation to Steven about his reasons for nominating him was unsatisfactory to me because he never mentioned any of the self-obsessed stuff and instead emphasised the 'lack of connection', which was a bit of a cop out.

However last night took the biscuit. His DR Steven rant was amazing - he articulated everything absolutely perfectly. It, along with his defence of Danielle's character assassination (again in the DR), was a winning moment for me. I understand that these opinions can't always translate directly to his behaviour in the house due to the necessity to avoid conflict and play the game to an extent but he did a complete u-turn with his behaviour (i.e. everything Jay mentioned above). He was very harsh about Pav for no solid reason - I thought he was fairer and a better judge of character so that was very disappointing. His approach to Helen in general is utterly bizarre. I get that he's a nice guy and wants her to grow and learn, which makes sense, so I don't understand why he's spot on in his criticism of her behind her back but unable to communicate even 10% of that to her. She was being self-deprecating (rightly so) and showing a lot of self-awareness and he was going so far as to disagree with what she was saying . He obviously has made a connection with her but what a cowardly way of handling things. I still really like him as he is incredibly insightful but his duplicity is very frustrating.

Seems Chris will carry on being irritating in tonight's episode. Banging on about the eviction being "unfair", ugh. Just respect that the public wanted him out, goodness me!
Pav has got to be the cringiest creature on earth.
Did you not see last year's series with Callum? Now he WAS cringey, lol.

Holy fuck. I'm embaressed that we share the same name.

HELP Helen was actually quite NICE in this episode! I want to believe her and I barely did... but still the amount of times she slipped back is worrying.

Can Mark GO PLEASE. So terrible.

I can't tolerate Mark anymore. He's just the epitome of contrived and self centred, most of all he is absolutely horrible to Christopher who is one of the most likeable and genuine people in there. I can't believe I thought he was so funny just a few weeks ago, but how he treats Christopher is a huge part of his downfall for me.

They really should have had a save and replace thing on the app, I think he would actually go, but unfortunately the lines are open now :(

I'm beginning to think it's more and more likely Chris will go on Friday, and I'd be happy with that. Haven't liked him since the start really so it's good to see people starting to doubt him now, his behaviour to Pav was so unnecessary. The only bad point is Ashleigh will lose another really close friend, but it will also make it a lot more likely she'll win by eliminating one of her biggest competitors.

I find Pav seems to play the victim too much and almost like he tries to self pity in the diary room. If I hadn't have known I would have never thought he'd studied Psychology at university.
