I reckon just based on sales this week Sats would end up somewhere around the #25-#30 region, however I can see streaming knocking off ten places for them. They will end up just clinging onto top 40 I reckon.

Their reaction to missing #1 with Missing You wasn't pretty so I'd hate to see what happens at the end of this week!

I doubt they'll be THAT bothered, and perhaps be more concerned with how the album does this week. I'm guessing that since they got their #1 with What About Us (ultimate career goal achieved) any other singles success is just a bonus now.
Just realised that the new Rizzle Kicks song is on the R1 A-List, them adding it must have completely passed me by - I was wondering why R1 had decided to ditch them  Now makes slightly more sense seeing it so high up. Could be a top 20 for them I guess.

It's had airplay pretty much everywhere.

That's a pretty weird way to see things. "Oh right we have a number 1 so we don't care about having an other hit!" doesn't sound like them at all.

I thought I'd heard it before. It's a cover of an old top 15 hit from 2000 by MC Neat (remember him ) and some garage producers that I can't recall the name of!

Its even older than that, its a house classic from 1988 (which was also later covered by Lonnie Gordon)

As if The Saturdays are still getting this much discussion, especially when Kiesza has a new song out...

I'm pleasantly surprised that both ZHU and Bakermat are still high on iTunes.

Apologies, all Sats discussion MUST stop because Queen Kiesza has a new single of course :) How foolish we've all been.

I don't recall stating that it must stop? I recall expressing surprise on the level of discussion that they're getting, especially as it won't be the highest new entry of the week and when a fresh and more relevant act has a new song out.

No one was being foolish, until you posted that comment.

 46. Little Nikki - Right Before My Eyes (feat. DJ S.K.T) [Edit]

This song is too good for THIS. What a jam.

51. Hot Natured - Benediction (Radio Edit)

52. Depzman - Test In Da Lab

267. Laura Welsh - Break the Fall

Benediction #33 combined and Laura Welsh is doing great considering her only buzz is the 'Here For You' release which was such a non-event.

Maybe it is but they do seem a LOT less desperate these days imo. It seems like more than a strange co-incidence that as soon as they got their #1, promotion for their subsequent singles has gone out the window. In the past they'd turn up to the opening of an envelope to try and grab those extra sales!

It's more the way you phrased it - you spoke as if everyone *should* be discussing Kiesza, when in all honesty, it's absolutely no surprise that she's at #3, there's nothing more to discuss. The Saturdays' position isn't clear yet, they're still climbing and of course there's streaming that will push them down, so no-one really knows where they'll end up yet.

It's the Saturdays and this is not a lot of discussion for them, when looking at their previous releases

There's more discussion for the Saturdays as they have the biggest fanbase on this site and this single's success could actually determine the rest of their career. (I know they've survived in the past but I do think many are accepting that the end could possibly be nigh).
Really we should just be discussing Dido. Yes, she's nowhere to be seen, but she's f***ing awesome.

Members can discuss what they like, I have no right to dictate that, I was simply commenting on the fact I was surprised by the ratio of posts regarding The Saturdays and posts regarding other acts, such as Kiesza.

I'm fully aware, though puzzled, of the fan base on this forum, but it's still surprising after many of their recent singles have flopped etc.

But I'll carry on scrolling past such comments and commenting on other acts, it isn't a big deal and I don't see why it's hit such a nerve to be honest.

And as for Dido

please download What Are You Waiting For? they just don't deserve this, they are such lovely girls. I can't imagine life without them in it :(
