Were they really going to have a hit single on their hands

Will be interesting to see where they end up - I thought they might make some kind of impact as they have physicals and 8 versions of the track

which was basically just their loons being silly, it was never gonna miss the top 40  I suppose it depends which way you look at it, but for me the Sats are about as high as *should* have been expected

I still wouldn't be totally shocked if it did though - The EP has started to free fall and it seems the single has peaked on iTunes, The signed version of the single is still available when usually it sells out and the release of the GH tomorrow will take sales away - I think their biggest threat is streaming, It will easily knock them down 10+ places from where they would have charted on sales alone.

7. Rizzle Kicks - Tell Her

35. Clean Bandit - Come Over (feat. Stylo G)

40. Twin Atlantic - Brothers and Sisters

46. Hot Natured - Benediction (Radio Edit)

51. Depzman - Test In Da Lab

79. Twin Atlantic - Brothers and Sisters

this is the second worst day of my life :(

Even worse than 'Eat slugs' day?

Well, don't you live a cheery life?

How are they not? This song isn't reduced to 59p like Not Giving Up, it has NO airplay, and very little promotion (ie. one performance last night). How is it not doing well *considering*?

I think you have to ask why they are currently struggling to get airplay like in the past.

Saturdays fans on here all last week were playing down their chances so they could say 'they're not doing as bad as I thought considering'.

I think they'll be top 20 on sales and around No30 due to streams being added to the chart since their last release!

Hope Clean Bandit finally stabilise and claim another top 40 bit with Come Over this week!

They are already falling less than 24 hours since it was released. It will be lucky to still be top 40 by next weekend!

I guess it'll help if the cherry-picking from the Greatest Hits album helps them or not, or if it just creates a worse situation where both versions end up disappearing due to less visibility.

I would say their Ep/cd single signings will just help them make the top 40?! Streams will destroy them though as only really popular songs seem to do well on that format.

No-one has really discussed the No1 this week it could be close between Magic & Nico IMO with streams deciding things?!

Does cd signings really make that much difference these days? I never get the impression that it's ever more than maybe 1000 copies that's sold that way and it's not exactly that much to make a major difference in todays sales climate.

I think they'll miss top 40; steaming is gonna completely annihilate their chances; without streamjngb I would say top 30 for them, but I can see them plummeting come midweek

I think the main reason they are struggling to get airplay is because they have become so generic since 2011. 'Up', 'Issues', 'Ego' and 'Higher' are all great pop songs and have more wide appeal when compared to 'Not Giving Up' and 'What Are You Waiting For?'.
