Ben Haenow - I Will Always Love You (literally THE worst possible song choice. He struggled with Cry Me A River so this is going to be nothing short of painful)

Every single one of these are horribly predictable though, except Ben's IWALY and of course the song is predictable... I think it's a fairly preditctable bottom 3 of Stevi and the groups, but Stevi could get the rebound vote and maybe if OTY smash it then Fleur/Ben/Andrea/Lauren might fall into the bottom. Doubt it, but maybe. Ideally Ben would go but no matter how much he butchers IWALY he'll be fine.

Stevi has to get a PROPER rebound though, which I can't see - he needs to be top 4 out of 7... when he was 7th out of the 7 who are left from last week, I can't see him rebounding enough.

 

I'd have to say it's gonna be Stevi and Only The Young but part of me is holding onto hope that Stereo Kicks could go over OTY... which is hardly out of the realms of possibility given they've been bottom 2 twice already.

There's more potential in Only the Young as recording artists. The boyband market is too flooded at the moment and when you only have one good singer out of 8, Stereo Kicks would fail.

Probably not! I'm pretty sure a choice like that means it's going to be reworked to be very different from Whitney's version, to suit a male vocal. There's probably some notable version out there which he'll put his take on.

No, he has already sung Whitney Houston twice though! One Moment In Time in week 2 and I Didn't Know My Own Strength at bootcamp.

I feel that if Fleur leaves them out, it'll take away from the song (It's all about the big notes really) and I don't think her performing the song well will make up for the lack of vocals.

How on earth can you say OTY have more potential as recording artists? As far as I can see it is SK who are doing better recently with itunes positions after their performances, youtube views and likes.

 

I don't know why so many on here seem to think anyone needs a new Steps, there is a reason there isn't a 21st century Steps.

lol at the Steps comparison. it's certainly what we've seen of them on the live shows since Louis was idiotically given the power to mentor them, but as we've seen they've clashed with him over song choices. they don't want to be a cheesy act, they want to be taken seriously, and we saw all of that from the auditions to judges' houses, until Louis took over. they have the potential to be great recording artists, definitely much more-so than Stereo Kicks. their market is teenage girls and they'll be the ones getting them far up on iTunes, the only thing OTY really need to do is establish a marketing point.
