Nelly's second Number 1 single in the UK is kicking off the Top 25, and was a double A Side with 'Flap Your Wings'. Ice Cube's 'You Can Do It When You B&Q it' is next up, and The Libertines had a Number 2 hit with 'Can't Stand Me Now' back in August 2004, and Christina Millians last UK hit was 'Whatever U Want', and just missing out on a Top 20 placing here is Embrace with the lovely 'Gravity'.

Kicking off the Top 20 is Mousse T, who is best well known for his Number 2 smash 'Horny'. He made abit of a comeback in 2004 with 'Is It Coz I'm Cool', which is a rather enjoyable song imo and was a Top 10 hit for him. First single from Joss Stones second album 'Mind Body and Soul' is next up at 19. 'You Had Me' was another Top 10 smash for her.

 

After scoring two Top 20 hit singles with 'Love Me Right' and 'Touch Me', it was third time lucky for Angel City in October 2004 when 'Do You Know (I Go Crazy) stormed to Number 3 in the UK charts and sampled Robert Miles classic dance anthem 'Children'.

 

McFly's second hit was a second Number 1 for them and at 16, just missing out on a Top 15 placing is Hoobastank, which is quite low for the amount of 11's it had, but other's didn't give it such high marks. It reminds me of the days I used to go to the pool hall with my mates. It would play about 4/5 times a night. :lol:

JoJo's debut Number 2 hit 'Leave (Get Out) kicks off the Top 15, and at 14 it's Lucie Silvas with her debut 'What Your Made Of'. The Scissor Sisters scored another Top 20 hit from their self titled debut album with 'Mary' and Jamelia covered Sam Brown's classic 'Stop' for the soundtrack to Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason.

 

The final single from Black Eyed Peas 'Elephunk' album was 'Let's Get It Started', and also peaked at Number 11 on the singles chart, although it just misses out on the Top 10 by a whisker as the track at Number 10 scored the same points, but had an 11 rate.

Kicking off the Top 10 is the third single and third Top 10 hit in 2004 from Keane. It was taken from their debut album 'Hopes and Fears'.

Michael Grey scored a Top 10 hit with this club classic back in 2004.

 

Shame The Reason missed top 15 :( , it's on the Teenage Dirtbags compilation and still sounds as good as it did then as it does now :D

 

Hopefully These Words misses the top 5. One of a few songs by Natasha I just couldn't stand when it came out :(

One of the biggest Number 1 hits of the year came from Eric Prydz. Everyone remembers that video, which was probably why the track did so well. :lol: It sampled Steve Winwood's classic 80's hit 'Valarie'.

Great riff here from Deep Dish, who scored a Top 3 hit in October 2004 with 'Flashdance'.

Flower Power teamed up with Dannii Minogue for a vocal version of their club smash 'Flower Power'. It gave them a Top 10 single in Autumn 2004.

Third Top 10 of 2004 from Kelis saw her team up with Outkast's Andre 3000. I forgot this song existed until this week, but it's clear Buzzjack still love it!

It's a nice song ^_^ very underrated imo, I'm biased obviously.

'Whatever U Want' wasn't Christina Milian's last UK hit. 'Say I', released in 2006 was. It's on Now 64. Happy about Eric Prydz, but I also agree at how Girls Aloud is No.1. :\
