To be fair, I don't think I've ever heard anybody talk about Moves Like Jagger in real life yet that's sold 1,500,000 or something.

I started properly teaching when Moves Like Jagger came out and loads of teenagers were talking about it.

I mean that there isn't even much discussion on the internet about this new track.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Perhaps it's one of those songs lots of people know and love atm, but nobody has anything to say about it? Personally I haven't heard the song yet so I don't know if that's the case, I'm just speculating.

With respect to Moves Like Jagger, I think it just went by fairly unnoticed with my demographic tbh. I heard it about a million times on the radio, but I think if I didn't listen to the radio I might not even know the song.

Ariana Grande's album is out tomorrow, "Bang Bang" is on the album, will be interesting to see if it's made an album only track, with the single not coming out for a few weeks
Hopefully it won't be, people will start buying it now and I may be spared having that awful mess at no. 1 on my birthday. I can but dream.
It's Album Only in The Netherlands, so I assume it'll be in the UK as well
2. Maroon 5 - Maps

The pre-orders of Maps didn't indicate it will be as high as #2 but I'm glad. The song has really grown on me lately.

How even?

I know pre-orders doesn't mean everything

It wasn't top 200 on pre-orders only this week and got to around #120 in the end. Looking back songs that got to nummer 2 and were available to pre-order went much higher before release. Well at least this was my experience. :)

So pleased to see M.O Top 25 - Iv never got over the break up of Mini Viva :drama: So it's good to see one of them has returned and is having a bit if chart action!
I don't think the sort of people who buy Maroon 5 songs are the sort of people who talk about music a lot are they?

I just meant that there was a lot more of a buzz when Payphone was released (I know that was huge) and even when One More Night started to climb.

Usually when a song features on an artists album but they're only featured on the song, it's made album only. For example: "Flashlight" and "I Need Your Love" on Ellie Goulding's albums.

I really hope Robin Schulz doesn't get to #1 this week somehow as I LOVE Maps.
fantastic to see robin schultz + lillywood storming to #1~ :cheer:

It irks me that Lilly Wood and the Prick have had to change their band name to this awful take on it. And they don't even have the lead credit on their own song anymore!

Oh well, I'm very pleased it looks set to be a huge No.1, go France with two on the trot!

You've heard the original right? Much better than this mess *repeats self*

It's featured on his album tho. He approached them wanting to remix the track for his album

Yes, I downloaded their whole album. The original is gorgeous, the instrumentation is quite 60s influenced.
