It's featured on his album tho. He approached them wanting to remix the track for his album

Fair enough but what's wrong with Robin Schulz vs. Lilly Wood or similar (I get why The Prick was removed)

It's LILLYWOOD that seems bizarre

To be fair I got a bit worried when I didn't see Maps in the iTunes Top 10 this morning so at least it's got almost right up there.

I actually really like that Lethal Bizzle song as well.

I wonder if it's some sort of marketing strategy, the all caps do make it stick out more on the iTunes chart

It seems a bit harsh that 'Prick' has been edited out of the artist credit for the UK audience.

I mean Kunt And The Gang were allowed to keep their artist credit for their highly offensive #66 hit in 2010, then again, that wasn't about to smash in at number 1.

It irks me that Lilly Wood and the Prick have had to change their band name to this awful take on it. And they don't even have the lead credit on their own song anymore!

They do still have the lead credit on the song, iTunes has just reversed them for some reason (it's clearly 'Lillywood and Robin Schulz' on the cover art).

Kunt And The Gang had two 'hit' singles, the first appeared uncensored on the OCC website but for the second they were billed as 'K**T & THE GANG' IIRC.

Well I don't know the details regarding the LILLYWOOD thing, but what exactly is the difference between vs. and &?

I'm not sure if this is right but I've noticed that 'vs' is usually used with remixes and '&' is used when it's an original collaboration. So in the case of 'Prayer in C' it should be 'vs'.

There are some cases of original collaborations using 'vs.' though, the biggest one recently being 'I Could Be The One'. And of course there's now this 'x' thing ('Gecko (Overdrive)' is the only one of these that has charted AFAIA but it's used quite a lot in dance music now). I don't think there's any real distinction between them all, it's just whatever the artists thinks sounds good I'd imagine.

I meant Lilly Wood vs. Robin Schulz sorry (although there's nothing between that and & really, I just think it suits it better as a lot of remixes of previously existing songs go under that guise). The credit reversal is far less annoying than the name butchering though!

I think I shall be sticking to 'Lilly Wood & The Prick' in my spreadsheets as after all they have released 2 albums in the UK under that name :P
A British artist choosing to focus more on the US is often a sign of impending career death (Nat Bed, Taio Cruz, Jay Sean). We can only hope.
Is Eminem releasing his new single this week?,that will probably be another top 10 hit this week if its released.

1. Robin Schulz & LILLYWOOD - Prayer In C

2. Maroon 5 – Maps

7. Lethal Bizzle ft. JME & Tempa T - RariWorkOut

26. M.O - Dance On My Own

40. Saint Raymond – I Want You

50. Indiana - Heart On Fire

78. Le Youth feat Javeon - Feel Your Love

Oops, didn't even notice the new Indiana song was out - strange to see this song doing so badly after 'Solo Dancing' was a decent sized hit for her  And the UK also giving up on Le Youth already. Very fickle.

M.O's song is pretty good (though I preferred 'Ain't Got Time'), didn't expect it to be a potential top 40 contender though!

Heart On Fire just doesn't 'sound' like a hit single at all rly (even in comparison to Solo Dancing), so i'm kinda unsurprised it's not doing anything. hopefully she has a stronger single lined up to preceed the album in October~

Bang Bang is album only, though available to stream on Spotify.

Bur are enough people streaming to chart it?

Well, we don't know yet. It was only available to stream from midnight. The video has now premiered also, so hopefully that'll help it to become one of the first tracks to chart on streaming alone!
