To be fair that Professor Green song isn't too bad. I'd personally put it as his best considering I don't rate any of his other songs. So I'm all for this doing well.

I'm still so pressed that Gaga & Tony Bennett have delayed the release of Cheek to Cheek's next instant grat 'Nature Boy', especially with CTC now back in the top 200 on album pre-orders

 

There's no doubt that alt-J will be #1 come the CTC album release week tho :(

This wont go to #1.

 

I'm beginning to think that too. AATB may having enough staying power to hold it off after all. I didn't think that originally, but it seems the hype behind Anaconda has evaporated & with barely any radio support I really don't see how it'll go #1. I prefer AATB though so I'd rather that had an extra week.

 

I think 'Anaconda' will have to settle for #4-6 at this rate.

I can't see Anaconda going to #1, I never did. All About That Bass will stop it sadly

 

I think the next few #1s will be Bang Bang, All About That Bass and then the new One Direction single

We can only dream... that song is a jam but it definitely doesn't have as much commercial appeal as 'Boom Clap' did.

If it was getting any radio or videoplay, I am pretty sure it would have. Doing amazing all things considered, I think it will still go Top 5.

I wouldn't say the hype for 'Anaconda' has evaporated at all, I still see everybody talking about it and posting endless parodies.

 

It does seem to be one of those tracks that's sold itself almost entirely on being viral though.

So you are all aware, Ella Henderson will be releasing an instant grat on iTunes on Sunday from her album! She's releasing 'Mirror Man'.
I'd say Anaconda's got round quite a lot! Even if there's not been much video/airplay, people know the song whether they like it or not, even more so than All About That Bass imo!
I think the next few #1s will be Bang Bang, All About That Bass and then the new One Direction single

 

God what a depressing list of awful number ones, though the Jessie J track isn't the most offensive of this list..
