Who's buying Christmas songs in September for goodness sake!!!
the earlier you buy them, the more time you get to play them!
How To Save a Life is beautiful
488. Take That- Greatest Day

Following the news of Jason Orange leaving Take That.

This is more appropriate for when they announce they're going to split :kink:

I can't buy, listen or play any Christmas songs until December 1st and up to new year then that's enough.

I'm a bit superstitious and I can't play them sooner in case it's bad luck

With Christmas songs- I usually start my loonage around mid October (and its always the same songs- AIWFCIY, IWICBCE, Fairytale Of New York are my main 3 and I listen to so many others as well)

Once the big live XF shows start and hallowe'en a out if the way lol. It's usually around the final few days of September that Mariah & The Pogues first appear.

Anyway it'll be interesting to see how streaming affects the Xmas chart this year!

My loonage begins on 1st November. I have occasional plays in October, but Christmas officially begins after Halloween. And when we reach December it's just like Christmas Day everyday tbh!

P.S. Don't forget to purchase 'Christmas, With Love' by Leona Lewis :D

I don't ever listen to Christmas songs in any month of the year except December (except when one of them is on a best sellers countdown on R1 then I can ironically love them for one listen) . It just doesn't feel right plus by the new year I get sick of the amount of overplay they get.

Looking forward to Fairytale Of New York re-appearing in the chart anyhow  Streaming should benefit it too :D

I usually ease myself in in early October and then end up properly into it when Christmas albums are released at the end of October (usually there's at least one by an artist I like to kick it off!)

I'm hoping The Retrobot can get #1 this year - he wasn't far off last year.

Get buying yoll

'Underneath The Tree' and 'Winter's Dream (Brandon's Song)' (along with the full album tbh) will be the first Christmas songs to get the spin from me this year! *.*

Kelly C to smash it and surprise push WD(BS) as a single please! :D

 06. George Ezra // Blame it on Me

And he's on Graham Norton tomorrow - hopefully performing it :D

Should be #5 shortly too :D I can see Graham boosting him upto 3 maybe?
