It's certainly headed in that direction isn't it. It was 'Skyscraper' this time last year that was being hammered to death all through the auditions, and then it became the winner's single.

Say Something lyrically feels a bit different than previous winner's singles to me but it really seems like Simon loves it. Alex & Sierra sang it on the US version and now it's being completely hammered on here. It was used a couple of times on the Australian version too although obviously simon isn't a judge there. It's a real XF favourite :drama:

I missed the episode tonight and I thought I didn't see it on the songlist yesterday- probably wasn't looking properly :kink:

I dont think Let It Go was performed on Strictly tonight... However at the end of the show Tess said there would be a dance to it on the results show? :unsure:

I'm definitely doubting One Direction will go to #1 if they don't have an X Factor performance, I think Meghan will manage a third week (or 'Glow' could even get close if Ella does perform on the first results show). I wonder if it will be One Direction or Ella who will be joining Pharrell on the first results show.

I don't think One Direction will be selling 100k+ either, and Meghan is holding up very very well so far. 'Live While We're Young' showed that not every lead single is a guaranteed #1 and there does seem to be a lot less hype around this single so far I think. Obviously the hype will probably rise with the music video release but for the time being it's not a certain #1 at all - although it may climb there later in its chart run like 'Story of My Life' did (I think).
