Get Lucky to finally go please :cheer:

Yassss bish!

:/

That is all. So much tactical voting as opposed to people actually voting honestly for their least favourite.

^ seems only apt to quote this after the totally coincidental influx of votes for Get Lucky in the last few hours~

Absolutely DISGUSTED at the prospect of Get Lucky not making top 20. Such sheep on BJ. If this happens, we should campaign to get rid of the Saturdays in the next round.

Get Lucky is one of the most overrated songs in recent years tho

As for my vote, I went Get Lucky as it had been on my list for a while, but I needed to get rid of Bruno first

Basically this proves that people care more about making their favourites survive. If someone is willing to vote for a song than they probably aren't a massive fan of it anyway, and if you can guess it'll help save a song you care far more about by reading the comments (which is how tactical voting starts) then it would be a very strong-willed person not to do it.

I couldn't really care less which one goes,, well that's not entirely true, I far prefer Get Lucky but I won't leap to its defense as a matter of principle. Now more people need to start voting for I Love It because I'm getting bored at hammering away at it and if enough people start eyeing up Can't Hold Us I may be tempted to switch to get it out (which of course people don't want, right? :D).

How is it shocking that 'Roar' has so many votes? in a nutshell 'Roar' just manifests how poor of an 'artist' Katy Perry really is. Basic, cliche, recycled in addition to the obvious song being ripped off from start to finish. The nickelodeon age 6 target audience music video, the embarrassing live performances (as per). Then again trust the GP to support a song and singer of such a bad callibre, omg katy perry I love her she's good looking, her personality is harmless omg her song is so sing-along yay deadney!1!1!

'Roar' has massive wide appeal (bar Buzzjack :basil:), so I am disagreeing with the "targets 6 year olds" comment.

My mates ALL love it and they are by NO MEANS Katy Perry "fans". Yeah the guys think she's fit and "big boobs" and all that. But they also went out of their way to play it on Spotify and iTunes etc... so they didn't always watch the video! Sometimes all you NEED is a simple, basic, anthemic pop song. I think we're in a generation now where the unpredictable has now become predictable, so all we want is for those simple things. As nice as the more daring pop songs are, they do become sort of novelty if they're too extreme (which is (coincidentally) what one of my mates said when I asked him why he preferred Katy's song over GaGa's at the time).*

I wish people would start voting the real overrated crap out now though. :( POP LOVERS UNITE and vote 'White Noise' to go next please. Thanks. xo

* - I'm not saying I necessarily AGREE with him, but I can see where he's coming from!

I mean hopefully the Sats will be gone soon. Such an annoying song with the stupid fake jamaican accents. It's like 'Come on girls you're not rastas'
