November 1, 201410 yr I'm glad it was jack,he seems a nice guy but his voice grated on me,I don't knowwho i want to go tomorrow night but I fear Lola might be in trouble.
November 1, 201410 yr CANNOT at Jack leaving. Done with this show, Strictly I'm coming for you next week. Ugh, he had so much potential to be a STAR though (still is in my eyes). Just hope he can keep going and give us another killer track like 'The Way Out' 08.0 Ben Haenow · Keep loving him more and more after each of his performances  Amazing song choice for him, his voice wasn't the best in that but it was still enjoyable on the whole. He's so bloody gorgeous as well. 04.0 Lola Saunders · Oh dear, I like her but that performance was absolutely horrendous. Awful song choice, she seemed shaky for most of it (the beginning was okay), but not impressed. Wouldn't be surprised if she's in danger tomorrow, which is a shame as vocally she really is capable of so much more. 03.0 Fleur East · That was just as bad as Lola, if not worse. Really don't see anything that worked with that performance at all? The staging was all good, but it was all a bit awkward for me. She wasn't even singing that much and when she was it all just seemed really flat and bland? Could have been amazing, but amazing it was NOT. 10.0 Jack Walton · I feel much more emotional watching this knowing that he's gone than I would have was he still in? But oh well. Performance of the night, there's just something so enchanting about his voice, love love love. Such a shame this was his last performance though, definitely deserved more. 00.0 Jay James · Wow, this has to be the most predictable song choice of his so far? Suits him to the core though, dull, depressing and absolutely horrific (perfectly matched to the theme too). Awful performance, really hope (and don't see him doing so) he doesn't last much longer here. 00.0 Andrea Faustini · I really can't focus on much else about this performance other than what the FUCK is he wearing?! What an utter mess. Go home. 04.0 Lauren Platt · Well at least she didn't turn it into a ballad this week... Still, it was a really poor performance. Weak vocals on the whole. Way to ruin a song, Lauren. Think the only thing that saves this for me really is that I love the song too much to criticise it too heavily. 07.0 Paul Akister · Things are bad when Paul's one of my favourites of the night... Probably helps that 'Bat Out of Hell' is such a guilty pleasure of mine. Good performance on the whole, still not amazing and he never will be, but ah well. 09.5 Only the Young · AMAZING performance, loving them so much, and with Jack gone they're probably the only thing tempting me to keep watching the show. Can see them being very successful if they keep progressing as they are on the show, all their performances are consistently fabulous and they all have good voices and work so well together. 06.0 Stereo Kicks · I think it's safe to say I'm over this lot now. Not a good performance at all, and I just don't see this whole charade lasting much longer. The song choice was good for them, but I'm just not believing in them any more and couldn't care that much for them at all. 00.0 Stevi Ritchie · No. Absolutely AWFUL show on the whole. Such a chore to watch and I really cba when I'm still trying to get over Doctor Who.
November 1, 201410 yr Jack is pretty and fit, but let's face it he has been a bit crap the past two weeks. Rather like Sam Callahan was last year. Always sad to lose the best eye candy though!
November 1, 201410 yr Jack was actually in my top 4 favourites, but his performance wasn't good at all tonight and probably the weakest out of everyone - purely down to the song choice so it's not really Jack's fault at all. Only The Young were way ahead of everyone tonight, you could tell that they were very familiar with the song as they were in another class tonight and their massive increase in support on Facebook and iTunes shows that to be the case. Fleur was once again great too and was my second favourite of the night, while her vocals did slightly struggle in the verses, the overall performance was fantastic and any slight vocal issues didn't matter at all in the context of the whole performance. I predicted Jack would be out tonight and I was right, I would guess at Lola going tomorrow night but I can't decide who else will be in the bottom 2 with Lola. I'd hope tonight's performance would save Only The Young (although their vote bounce from being in last week's bottom 2 may have been "used up" tonight), but if they do survive then maybe Paul or Stereo Kicks could slip into the bottom 2.
November 1, 201410 yr Post Xtra Factor like update (if this isn't annoying I'll do it again tomorrow at some point, I find it interesting to see how the likes build): Stevi 13,658 Fleur 10,498 Lauren 10,176 Ben 9,468 Stereo Kicks 8,419 Only The Young 8,369 Paul 7,176 Jay 6,677 Andrea 5,805 Lola 4,683 Glad to see Paul building a bit, hopefully Jay is a shock bottom 2 but the oracle of the Facebook likes says it'll be Andrea :o
November 2, 201410 yr I assume the first Jay is Ben then? :kink: But yes please keep posting them, I find them very interesting!
November 2, 201410 yr I think people like Andrea when he sings the power ballads, otherwise they're not fussed on him and he blends in to the show. That's the impression I am getting. Plus mums and grannies love a ballad over big productions with less challenging vocals. I'm getting slightly concerned with Jay. Asked a few ppl tonight (all girls as well) who was their fav and they all said Jay :\ told my Mum to get on the Stevi bandwagon instead.
November 2, 201410 yr I'm thinking (not seen the show yet, but going by the "likes" and things) Andrea won't be in the bottom 2 this week, but instead he'll be the week 5 "shock" evictee next week.
November 2, 201410 yr I honestly believe 'Only The Young' are the only acts who could be successful following the x-Factor.
November 2, 201410 yr My comments on my favourite & least favourite acts of the night: I'm kind of surprised at some of the negative reactions to Fleur tonight (elsewhere as well as on here). I thought she really brought it in terms of performance, effortlessly paid homage to MJ. Her vocal was pretty much as good as she has been for the last few weeks, and certainly quite strong considering all the choreography she was doing? Most popstars would be miming if they were dong choreography like that. Who else in this competition is performing to her standard? Lauren appeared to throw a wobbly over having to do *one* dance move! I just feel like we have a potential popstar on our hands in Fleur and I feel a bit sad that she seems to have a lot of detractors. It makes me fear that she could go far sooner than she should (i.e. before the final). I guess we all have different tastes and expectations, but personally I don't see how she could have been any better than she was tonight. I *pray* she makes it to the finals. :o As much as I generally like Jack, he was pretty awful tonight. He sounded really whiny and the performance was just flat/dull - he did absolutely no justice to 'Bleeding Love' at all. He can usually sing so much better than that. I knew while he was performing that he was putting himself in danger to leave, and it was no real surprise when he did get eliminated. Like I said, I know we all have different tastes, but beyond the fact that Jack is eye candy he really wasn't up to scratch tonight. :( I know people would probably argue against this, but I personally feel that some of the people who find him attractive are kind of blinded and are letting that compensate for how he actually sounds/performs. If people genuinely thought he sounded great / performed amazingly regardless of how he looks then that's fair enough. For me he wasn't anywhere near as good tonight as he was in Week 1. Put his vocals from tonight into Andrea or Paul - would people have raved about them if they did a performance exactly like Jack's Bleeding Love? I doubt it!

I have to agree pretty much with all of this. As regarding Fleur, she has potential to be an all rounder, maybe she was a bit wobbly in places, even Cheryl can't sing and dance at the same time ;)

Lola is obviously gonna go as soon as she's in the bottom 2.

I can't see any situation where he'd go though! The only way I think he'd go is if he got the least votes on a week where it was a double elimination because obviously the judges couldn't save him. Which I guess for the week 5 "shock" is kind of possible, The Risk were like 3rd in the bookies odds and Maria Lawson was favourite to win when they were eliminated! Although Maria was actually in the bottom 2 so maybe that could happen to Andrea  I do like him to a certain extent but I love a shock elimination if it isn't one of my favourites, I'd sacrifice him to have that shock. Andrea and Jay would be a good shock bottom 2! Lola is obviously gonna go as soon as she's in the bottom 2. Oh if only, then Jay would go <3 I'm almost 99% sure Lola will go, I think the only way she would stay is if someone did a really bad sing-off. I think only Only The Young or maybe Stereo Kicks would fall apart like that. Stevi would most probably stay over her, not that he'll be bottom 2 anyway after last night.

Yeah, I know loads of people who like him and talking about him like he's a shoo-in to win. I just don't see it at all? I mean he can hold a tune (which sadly can't be taken for granted with the quality of some of the contestants this year), but he's just so bland and unremarkable. He reminds me of Kye from a few years ago. In spite of myself, I thought Only The Young were the best last night, a pretty drastic bounceback from the one of the worst performances in X Factor history on the sing-off last week. November 2, 201410 yr Lauren was so terrible last night. The judges were deaf. Good choice of a modern Halloween song though.
November 2, 201410 yr Am i the only one who finds Jay hot? He has a gorgeous smile  Yes, you are. He might have the most annoying vocals out of anyone left. Plus, I hate the way he sings every week. That dramatic expression and those hands. <_< Edited November 2, 201410 yr by Jason

November 2, 201410 yr The overs category is so strong this year, it feels like the best category whereas it's usually a retirement home for joke acts and other filler. Would be fantastic to see Fleur win, and unlike Sam Bailey (as much as I dearly love her) there'd be more mileage in her career than a mother's day album of rushed covers. Realistically though, I can see her coming 4th/5th.
