November 30, 201410 yr Probably the worst line up ever, not just for a SF. I mean I don't even know a song by fifth harmony, Sam Bailey has long been forgotten and I smell 1 hit wonder for Idina.
November 30, 201410 yr People were like this last year with James Arthur and this year with Sam, why are people shocked that last years winner is going to be on performing. I don't understand the shock.

I don't understand the shock. Not shocked Sam is performing just shocked she will probably be the most well known of the performers (expect Buble obviously).
November 30, 201410 yr You're under estimating Idina, hugely. Not just because of 'Let It Go', either! Maybe in terms of being a popstar, then yeah. But as a name? She's definitely a bigger draw! 'Wicked' is one of the most talked about and most successful broadway shows of all time
November 30, 201410 yr I'd rather 3 new acts than the same spammed artists every year. (OK, we have to watch Buble yet AGAIN but he's not a "main" performer as such).

Fifth Harmony got to 3rd place in the second series of X Factor USA and are currently doing quite well in the US. They are a US version of Little Mix. They also auditioned as solo artists and put together like Little Mix. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer gCJ3rmiZFr8 Edited December 2, 201410 yr by euro music
December 1, 201410 yr Hopefully Andrea to go home this week. :) This would leave it the best final since 2011 Edited December 1, 201410 yr by euro music
December 1, 201410 yr Anyone know when it comes down to just the public vote. I thought it began with the final 5 but I was wrong.
December 1, 201410 yr I think it depends on whether someone they want in the final is bottom 2  I remember they had a sing-off before the final in 2010 which ended up being Cher and Mary, only Louis voted to save Mary as she was his act but it turned out Mary got something like 3% more of the vote than Cher! They also had a four person final that year... I love Cher, but I don't think it's fair. I know the judges are there to judge and we should "trust their opinion" but I think at this stage it should be public vote only from the top 5 like it used to be imo. Lauren will just end up in the sing-off again as I think I've already said twice  You're under estimating Idina, hugely. Not just because of 'Let It Go', either! She's not a nobody that's for sure.

Adele Dazeem :kink: I totally agree with what you're saying though, it should be a purely public vote at this stage now that there are only four people left, I don't know why they changed that up. I remember the whole 2010 fiasco though, the media were having a field day! Edited December 1, 201410 yr by Slade

That was probably the worst moment of X factor ever, they even said it would be a straight vote off, then when it would have been Cher going not Tesco Mary (who they had spent the last few weeks trying to dampen her vote) they made it bottom 2 sing off to get rid of her. We will know on Sunday, if the bottom act goes automatically it will be who they wanted to go and if there is a sing off it will be because the bottom act is someone they want in the final.

To be fair that backfired last time  I think they wanted Rough Copy in the final instead of two of Louis' acts, but Sharon refused to play along and sent Luke through to the final, then deadlock rid us of a Rough Copy. I didn't particularly like Luke but it's so pleasing when they don't get their way  Plus Rough Copy were absolutely horrific anyway. JLS are by far the best boyband they've ever had on the show, but RC were like a Lidl version.
December 1, 201410 yr The voting figures went something like Sam 29%, Nicholas 28%, Luke 26% and Rough Copy 14% too  (from memory, could be wrong but that's roughly what it is)
December 1, 201410 yr Yeah from memory it was kind of like last night with the SF last year, you could sense and tell everything was pointing to a certain act going and another going through (they gave SK everything they could Sat and did their best to stifle Lauren) but in the end they knew they just couldn't justify keeping SK over her. It made Mel B look like a twit too as I'm sure she was told to save SK and Simon was supposed to as well but knew it would look just plain terrible to put SK through after the way the sing off went. It was probably better for SK as a band to leave at QF stage on deadlock, than to leave SF stage after it looking ridiculous they made it that far with the previous weeks sing off. It happens far too often that the one to leave is already chosen then comes the sing off and that person out-performs the other and they look stupid saving the other person.
December 6, 201410 yr I'm SO ready for this performance of BO$$! So it's been confirmed? :/ I was looking forward to Sledgehammer...
December 6, 201410 yr So it's been confirmed? :/ I was looking forward to Sledgehammer... Yeah the interview earlier on Heat confirmed it was BO$$!
December 6, 201410 yr I cant wait for 'Who are fifth Harmony' to trend on twitter lol It'll annoy me more if it comes from Little Mix fans given Little Mix appeared on I think two or more X-Factors and no one knew who they were at the time!
